The small size fits a 16.9 oz bottle perfectly. It will fit into the medium, but it will be loose.

What size do I need for my 17 oz bottle ?

Will this stretch to fit my 32 oz bottle that is 3.5 inches wide?

I mostly use it for my 24 oz. bottle that is about 2 3/4" wide but it will stretch to fit on my 40 oz. bottle that is 3.5" wide too. I'm not sure how high it will go on your bottle though. I use it on the large one mostly because it's easier to carry it. I can also hang it over the back of my passenger headrest to keep it upright.
