Great shoe - beware sizing!
I bought these for cycle touring where I wear hiking type shoes and they seem like they will do the job really well. Sturdy (stiff) sole which is required for pedals. Comfortable with the foam tongue and with the rubber toe cap to brush off wear and tear on the shoe. They look really good, not too 'technical' for going to the pub after but still quite sporty. Haven't fully tested them in the wet, but I would say they are 'splash resistant', the mesh is quite tight and would shed water and the rubber toe cap is waterproof but they won't take a soaking in rain or allow you to stand over the top of the laces in a puddle. They are snug around the foot but not too narrow as some of the reviews say and I have a medium to wide foot. However they are overall small - I'm usually a UK 10 and ordered an 11 based on reviews and that was definitely the right thing to do, 11 fits well both in length and width.

Solid Multi-Activity Shoe
Bargain.A great outdoor multi-sport shoe.Used them biking mainly and manage to keep a decent grip on the pedals. Great traction on rocks too for scrambling.Felt very stiff at first but wore them to work a few times and broke in nicely but not too much, still feel secure. And under £70 at the time.

Very robust and great on rocky terrain
Small for labelled size - as expected. I am UK 6.5 and labelled 7 is ok. Interestingly the EU size is given 40 and 2 thirds! Very well made, robust with great toe and front of the foot protection via the rand. Sticky rubber is great on rock and the smooth area around the toes good for scrambling on small rock footholds. Probably not good for UK muddy/boggy terrain. Good heel cup supports the ankle. The heel is narrow and the drop is small, so overall the foot control is great.

Great, robust, solid
After post op surgery on my ankle, I really needed a shoe to keep my foot and ankle in position, these shoes remind me of the old Adidas Torsion shoe, they lasted years, great product, waterproof, good for any active purpose, I wear them to walk the dogs, gardening, they are light enough for wild swimming too, thanks Amazon.

Comfy, great for walking and well built!
I was looking for a trail running shoes. Due to my weight (I guess) and the fact that I walk a lot and I wear one pair of shoes everyday until they die, normal running shoes don't last long with me. I found that trail running shoes provide the perfect balance between comfort and durability. However, once I tried this pair it fitted my foot perfectly, I loved them. The sole isn't as flexible as I am used to, I am not sure if they will perform if I take them to a run, but for walking in the city they are very comfy so far.The build quality is exceptional, even for an Adidas.I had to go a full size up (from 10.5 to 11.5) from my previous Adidas. I find the chinese made Adidas to be half a size smaller than the Indonesian made !!I may update the review after I put on a few miles on them, but I am optimistic they will be just fine.

Form over function
These are great looking trainers (even though Adidas have reduced the colour choice available), but don't really live up their looks when you get them on.I was after something that was mid way between standard trainers and proper walking/hiking shoes, and this seemed to fit the bill - trouble is they are very oddly sized and not massively comfortable even in the right size. I'm a UK size 8, originally ordered an 8.5 which was way too small, and although a 9 fits, it is very narrow across the toes, and the instep part of the (removable) insole digs into my feet. I wanted something that could withstand a few shortish walks across muddy fields but while they are tough enough for that, they just wouldn't be comfortable for much more than a mile or so. So back they go and I'm still looking for something hard-wearing but vaguely fashionable.

Addidas always seem to come a little small so order half a size up , great all rounder .comfortable. not overly water resistant but I brought already knowing thisGood for cycling In the summer or walking but cold weather not great as ankles are real low cut

Beauties
They looks a bit like approach shoes, which is great. Hard and solid sole is good for outdoor and indoor climbing, with the extra rubber on toes. Also good for running. But be aware that you have to buy one size bigger. My feet are slim, and I bought bigger size, and it fits perfectly .
