This worked for one week and moved little to no air. After a hot day the glue melted out of the solar panel housing and the fan stopped working.

Little solar panel pulls in enough power to create a strong breeze from the fan. USB plug means you can plug into your computer, or a small AC adapter (like you use with charging your phone). Great for the price. Only wish it can with a clip (and swivel) for the solar panel to rotate and capture optimum sunlight.

All in all for the price, this product does what is says it will do. The only downside is that the solar panel is fairly low quality design. It requires absolute direct sunlight for it to work. The funny thing is that it will still power the fan, but it will spin at an appropriate speed depending on how much of the panel is in sunlight. So even if you place your hand over the panel, the fan will still work but not spin as fast and will not really generate air flow. This is why I am giving only 4 starts instead of 5. I will be using this on my boat at it is perfect for that, but not much of anything else.

I bought this to put in my tiny greenhouse to circulate the air. Yes it gets hot in the greenhouse but not that hot, as I do work in there and it is vented. The wiring to the solar panel melted (where the wire is connected to the back of the solar panel) and left a dollop of melted plastic goo on the wooden table I had it sitting on. So the solar part is non effective at this point. I took it inside and use it as a usb connection fan now instead by the couch. It is a very very very tiny fan and does not really blow much air. I have purchased other small solar fans for the greenhouse before and never had problems with them. This was a secondary fan to augment my older one, so no big loss… but would not recommend. Not worth the hassle of sending back for a refund as I can use it as a USB fan by the couch. But disappointing…

This listing is a scam. First, the fan is far too small. About 6 inches in size. What are you going to cool off? Second, it plugs in with USB AND IT'S MEANT FOR OUTSIDE USE??? Third. No matter what, from what I got and what other reviews seem to have in common is that they will send you a used and/or broken unit. AND I SELECTED NEW. Fourth, and this is a personal issue though i'm sure it has happened to others, the order DIDN'T EVEN COME WITH A SOLAR PANEL. The AMAZON BASICS fan is MUCH larger, has an outlet plug and is a safe purchase. DO NOT buy this scam.

Used for small storage room with solar panel out vent. Works great.

This was supposed to be for my chicken coop to have some airflow. This barely blows wind to a 3 foot distance. What a laugh when I opened the package and saw this little guy. I wasn't expecting a big box fan but at least a little larger than this. One positive note, the solar panel, though cheap looking, did make the fan run 🤷‍♀️
