excellent
an excellent buy as usual but if you have a bad habit of losing stuff at work like I do every once in a while don't bother getting this but if you do door dashing like I did your going to get comments and your going to get recognized for deliveries as well as stand out in a crowd I also got the mask to go with it and they both work well with the app however at some point the app stopped working with both of them connected at one which is very odd but the app didn't get that great of reviews but functioned very well for me and what I did do in my spare time. I would buy this item again in the future if I ever loss this gadget again.

Coolest hat! Better quality than I even imagined. Fun!!
Great quality hat! Can input your own words or choose pre-selected from the App. Easy set up. Words can blink or scroll left and right, up or down, fade in and out or stay static. Keeps memory of all your sayings. A lot of fun!!

App Permissions Workaround
Hat looks great. Works. Haven't worn it out yet. Don't really like the wide flat bill, so took off a star for that. I, like others, was concerned about the app requiring all access to my phone. Figured out that if you add all the permissions, write your message and send it to the hat, you can go back in the app, REMOVE all the permissions and the hat still works. You'll just have to repeat the process every time you change the message. Which is not a big deal to me, to protect my Privacy...

Worked better than expected for the price
Bought for fun going to meet some high school buddies. The app & sync was super easy ( even for an old dude ). Held up through the weekend as well. Didn’t try any of the more “advanced” options, just changed scrolling text often all weekend. Fun item!!

It survived the washing machine,!
Great product! We accidentally ran the hat through the washing machine... Amazingly, we dried it out, and it worked! WOW!
