One of the finest mens' cologne EVER.

I used this product almost 60 years. I liked very much. I most shopping at Hong Kong because Price is much cheaper. Anyway, thanks for early delivery and well packing.

Several years ago, when Chanel confirmed they were discontinuing the "original" scent ("not right for American tastes at this time") I began stock-piling it, to a small extent - I'd keep several unopened bottles in dark, cool storage for later use. After it disappeared I'd have friends in France, where it was still, available, although in smaller sizes, purchase it for me and carry or send it to me here in the US. When it disappeared from French stores, I began searching via the internet. Eventually it disappeared form there, as well. When I saw these offered (at a relatively reasonable price - I had paid as much as $325 for 3.4 ounces), I bought two; here is what I think. First - the color is much, much too dark. Second, the scent is different - but as I compare it to the last of the product I have of which I am certain of the provenance, the difference is that the initial top notes are almost completely gone, but the dry-down is seemingly identical! The best guess I can come up with is that this product is probably genuine, but that aging and oxidation have darkened the coloration, but allowed the loss of the top notes. I'm using it on occasion, but I still wish Chanel would come to its "scent-is" (*pun intended) and bring back the original. The current version, with its "smack-you-in-the-face" forwardness, might be good for those who wish for be announced by their fragrance before opening the door, but it is still not for me.

This cologne smells great. Nice pleasant traditional masculine fragrance. My only complaint is longevity and projection are poor. Would I recommend? It? Probably not. It’s overpriced for what you get.
