True to size. The garter straps are removable which is nice to have the option. The material is soft and doesn't rub or pinch which is nice! The colors are true to pics as well so if you really want one color, go for it. The waistband is very stretchy so if you want to size down for it to be smaller I think you could. Highly recommend if your partner is into skirts.

It is a super silky material. The black organza with the satin ribbon is also very soft. I am a smaller person (5'2 / 92- 95lbs), I ordered the small and it fit perfectly without being too tight or too loose. It is very fun and sexy. It is a bit shorter than I expected, but was still great. The elastic waistband was not uncomfortable at all. Very good quality overall.

Stretchy waist but runs very small. I have a large in a different style skirt from the same manufacturer and it fits perfectly. The large in this style barely fit. I returned and repurchased in a XXL.Also I thought the plaid part of the skirt would be a nice tweedy type fabric like my other skirt, this one is a cheaper silky polyester with a plaid print on one side, and it is white on the other side.
