Which of the 2 Lubriderms is more effective for dry skin: the Advanced Therapy Lotion or the Intense Skin Repair?

The advanced therapy lotion was recommended by my dermatologist & I have been using ever since. I apply twice a day at least. Love it.

has anyone used this as a facial moisturizer? I have dry flaky patches on my face and tried everything, will this work.?
