Are these bulbs suitable as an interior boot light?

As long as the bulb they are replacing is the same fitment then yes, it will be much brighter than the original. I use them for interior lights in my truck.

What si the actual wattage of the 36mm festoon bulbs? descriptions says 5watts, but led is supposed to be more energy efficient?

This straight 5watt bulb replaces a 5w/25w bulb. The 5 watt led is brighter than the 25w halogen that it replaces and dims down for the 5w halogen equivalent. They’re awesome led’s btw

Are these legal in the uk for daytime running lights? want to fit them on a skoda fabia mk3

They are not EC marked and so are NOT LEGAL. Will not pass an MOT and will invalidate your insurance. That being said, who is going to check light bulbs for the EC mark? ;-)
