Sounds really better than expected. Looks great and inconspicuous. I have mine wired at 2ohms. It holds stable with no drain and no overheating. Easy to connect and the auto on/off feature is great. You'll really enjoy this amp. It provides a great sound over stock any day. And if we're being honest, i actually bought 2!

Lots of power in a compact unit for a reasonable price. Installation was easy, terminals where well spaced and of strong quality. it fit exactly where I wanted it to .

Paired this with an 8” pioneer sub and alpine deck, bridged mono on the sub outs. With gain at 100% and sub level at full the bass hits hard and clean. You can feel the bass with just 1 8” sub.

I hooked up my old PolkAudio TS25i (seems most similar to latest-model TSi100, would be a great deal at $150/pair if actually similar) and got outstanding results. After running the same speakers on a mid-grade home component integrated amp by NAD, I think I was hearing a fuller bottom end with the Pioneer 12VDC amp.Although others have noted this amp should prominently market its true continuous power rating at low distortion, not the peak power 500Watts blazoned on its shell, it got louder than desired for a porch dance party, where the absence of walls sucks away sound level, and PLENTY loud to fill my 18x12 living room to party-level loudness, running through the two polk 2-way bookshelf speakers. The presence of that full bass suggests it's got some reserves beyond that.What I'm most happy about is it doesn't gobble up much power. The signal-level bricks are 3/4 the capacity of the power amp bricks. They drained faster than the power amp bricks, even though a couple mixers should be less than 1/2 the power of a power amp? The whole system played about 1 hour of very-loud music, 6 hours at a level you'd turn it down to talk to a friend, 2 hours at background level and probably another 4 hours with amp and signal processing in 'standby': on but not playing music. I'd guess the rig could do >4hours at very-loud volume, no problem, maybe 6 or 8.

Works great pounds my subs

Some scumbag stole my sub woofer power amp out of my Honda Pilot. This was a great replacement and paired perfectly with my new Pioneer car stereo. Good a and fast delivery. Way cheaper than the audio shop wanted to charge me for a smaller lower powered amp. Just fit under the passenger seat with no obstructions.

I have the amp running in bridged mode to a dvc pioneer 10 inch sub wired at 4 ohms. The amp barely has enough power to run the sub. I expected quite a bit more from the amp, so I would say the performance is lacking.

I saved a fair bit of money buying a 'used' amplifier here on Amazon. Other than a few scuffs and no original packaging it doesn't look like it had ever been installed. I am using it in bridged mono mode, and installation was very straightforward, and it fits nicely behind the driver's seat of my very small sports car. It won't blow the windows out, but that doesn't interest me in the least. It adds nicely to the bottom end, and controls my 8 inch Alpine subwoofer with little effort.

It does the job. If you try to drive it super hard it overheats. If you want to add some bass on a budget it will work great, but don't expect that the whole neighborhood will hear you. The auto power sensing high level input is a huge bonus as no remote wire is required. For the price, its tough to complain. If you want serious bass, look elsewhere
