PERFECT!!!
It's exactly what I was looking for. Looks great, works great, and is downright awesome. I wouldn't personally use it for WW II stuff unless I had to, but for camping and such, it works great!!

Great for the kit
These canteens are solid I've used it countless times and will use it countless more. No leaks. Only problem was the clips to attach it to things not very good design on those but easy fix with some straps.

I'm fussy, I admit it.The listing says 'green' not 'olive drab' so no misrepresentation, but it's a blue-green that doesn't appear so in the photo, or match any of my other OD gear... so there's that. I can go to a surplus store and get another, (and I'm thinking maybe I should have gone there in the first place.)I find the chain and o rings that connect the cap to the canteen weak and cheesy. If they last I'll be surprised, but I'll be sure to use gently.It is passing the leak test so far, so that's good. I guess it depends if you are as fussy as me.

How it is made to last and will it last great buy
This is the kind of canteen I was looking for stainless steel 1 qt that would fit on my hunting belt . This a well made item that will last.
