I had to review this item because the horrible reviews I read really had me apprehensive to use this vinyl. As a first time EVER using iron on vinyl I was petrified after reading the reviews and convinced I was going to ruin my material even attempting to use this stuff. However, it went on with out any problems and looks great! I used parchment paper on top of the carrier clear they have on the vinyl just to be safe that it didn't stick to my iron. I set my iron on silk. I held it on the parchment paper for about 30 seconds pushing firmly, then removed the parchment paper and put the iron directly on the carrier plastic for another 15 seconds or so. I slowly removed the plastic from the vinyl and it came off with no problem. I'm happy with the vinyl and would use it again. Just take your time, don't heat up your iron or press to a super high setting and cutting it with my cricut maker I jut set it to iron on vinyl and put more pressure, it cut without any problems too.

I am somewhat new to HTV Vinyl, and struggled to come up with the PERFECT design/saying for my lavender tee... The design I chose was too intricate for this vinyl. I used the "HTV, not Cricut Brand" as my material, and forgot to change the pressure setting to the most pressure. That said, I had to go back and pick and pull several of the small details out of the sheet and apply them with tweezers to the transfer tape. When Pressing the design with my Cricut Heat Press, I set the settings to 280º and pressed the shirt for 15 seconds, applied the design, and pressed the design with transfer tape 40 seconds, turned the shirt to the backside and pressed an additional 40 seconds (this step is highly recommended by most (if not all) of the makers I follow on YouTube). When I turned the shirt back over and attempted to do a "warm peel", the design appeared as though it wanted to peel off with the transfer tape. I applied heat again for an additional 40 seconds, this time allowing it to cool before peeling. The HTV appeared to have stuck better to the shirt; however, there are still a couple of places that I am skeptical about. In hindsight, they consider this a "sport flex" and I wish I would have increased the temp from 280º to 305º I do wish the vinyl sheets were available in multiple sizes or on a roll, at least 12x12. I LOVE the tie-dye colors. I am hoping to do something with the other sheets in the packet this week. I will increase the pressure and the temperature of my Easy Press and give an update on my review. Until Then... I would recommend this product if you know your Cutting Machine & Heat Press. I would not recommend this product to beginners. *UPDATE: This has turned out to be one of my favorite shirts to wear, so it has had MANY almost WEEKLY wash and dries. While I am picky when it comes to separating my clothes before washing, so being lavender, it gets washed with reds on cold, I am not one to pay a whole lot of attention to make sure I wash inside out or even worse about drying a certain way, and almost never hang anything to dry. So this shirt gets NO special attention about how it is dried! All that said, is this vinyl has held up better than my cricut glitter vinyl on my shirt. No peeling at the intricate points of the design! VERY PLEASED with the washing and drying and the weekly wear I get out of this shirt!!!

Needed this for various projects, very happy with the results

This vinyl is impossible to use and ruined my cricut mat because it won’t peel completely off. It comes with what seems to be translated instructions however the translation is not 100% correct so it’s difficult to understand. I used 1 sheet and my letters were barely cut through so I re read on the instructions that I need a different blade so I go to Michaels to get it. Come home, try it again. And this time the ‘recommended blade’ cut through everything, including the transfer baking so the pieces are a mess. Now my clear backing pieces are stuck on my mat and I need to scrape then off 1 by 1. It’s horrible and I would not recommend it. I was so excited for the fun tie dye but I would have much rather spent the last 7-8 hours of my life doing something else than trying to figure out this vinyl.

I ordered these sheets to decorate a tote bag. I have never used HTV sheets before. I didn’t think to look at the reviews before I bought it and got scared looking after I bought them. I was seeing about the tight roll they came packaged in. Well my package arrived in a flat package. They were in a nice folder to store them and completely flat. As a first time user I had no issue figuring out how use once I realized there is no protective film to remove from the back anymore before you iron it on.

It was a bit stiff and thick out of the package. The size is fine for what I need it for (cut by hand) but at only 8” wide, I don’t have much scrap. I actually like to have some small leftover pieces for small embellishments. I do really like the colors I got. Update- Still like the colors but having major issues with cutting it. Wasted two sheets because it just would not cut through using my machine. The backing shredded to the point that it went through to the vinyl on some spots but not others making it impossible to be successful even after a 2nd run through. The material needs to be thinner, stored flat and better directions.

Really happy with the Tintnut Tie Dye Heat Transfer Vinyl! These sheets of rainbow-colored HTV are not only beautiful but also super easy to work with. My T-shirt turned out amazing! The vinyl feels smooth, durable, and professional. I’ve washed it a couple of times already, and the colors haven’t faded or peeled at all. This product exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to use the rest of the sheets for more projects. Highly recommend for both beginners and experienced crafters!

Compré una Cricut por hobby y no me considero experta así que con lo poco que sé me encantó el material ya que fue fácil de usar. Se cortó como mantequilla y para quitar los sobrantes no me costó nada. Se pegó en esta sudadera muy bien y ahora falta ver qué tan durable es pero por ahora le doy 5 estrellas. Edit: 2 años después, han resistido mil lavadas y siguen igual de brillantes.

this vinyl works just as well as the Cricut brand. our logos turned out great and hold up in the wash. at a cheaper price point, you get a lot more product as well. I like it because Cricut doesn't have a lot of variety with their iron on vinyls. will be using this this brand again in the future.

This HTV is so pretty, can’t wait to make more pretty T Shirts, it was so easy to weed too. I will definitely adding to my favourites and buy some more 😊
