(note: the collar ring is not included in this sale.) The lamp shade fits if the inner diameter of the collar ring is in the range between 1" and 1-1/2". A 25-cent coin, which has a diameter of ~1", can be used for the size estimation. Reflected light from ceiling and walls plays a main role when using a torchiere floor lamp. In order to achieve high brightness and high energy efficiency, it is recommended to use an LED bulb. The third picture shows an example with a soft-white 9W LED bulb (equivalent to a 60W incandescent bulb) in a bedroom with low ceiling. In the fourth picture, a soft-white 15W LED bulb (100W equivalent) has been used in a room with high ceiling.
