This is a quality tool to use for checking the Ping, Of Precious metals But i had to Give it a 4star because it was over priced. I can Three D print these for probably 1/10th the price and to be honey they should be closer to $20 rather than over $30

This is a must have tools to easily and inexpensively test your precious metals. Couple this with an accurate scale; you don’t have to purchase a $1200 instrument. Very portable and can test any coin or 1 ounce bar in the field.

Being a new silver stacker I had concerns on where to buy silver bullion. I did some research on how to test if a bullion was fake or not and many resources kept saying to do a "Ping" test. I tried using my fingers but made it hard to keep the silver round in place and it would consume more of my time. But, now that I got this pocket pinger it made things better and faster. It also game me the confidence to buy silver bullion from locations like flea markets. It helps me to have a peace of mind that whatever I purchase its going to be real. The only issue I have that the wooden stick is a little bit too smal for my hands. But, luckly the pocket pinger already has a plastic close to where the coin is place. So, the only thing you need to do is the bullion upwards and the coin will strike the plastic piece which creates the ping. Im really happy with this purchase and I am glad I ordered two of them so I can compare easily.

The pinger is okay, they have a limited amount of coins on the app. Did not work for us. But the return process !! Pure nightmare . Seller received it back quite some time ago and here I am still fighting for my refund as of today .
