Not 8 cups
Hot seeds flew everywhere and the butter didn't melt. It was definitely not 8 cups.

Funciona bien aunque se sobrecalienta, es Pequeña y ruidosa.
Es muy pequeña por lo que se debe de usar repetidamente (tres veces ) para hacer una cantidad similar a la de un tazón de cine. Se sobrecalienta muy rápido por lo que hay que esperar para volver a utilizarla. El ruido es elevado pero tolerable si se utiliza poco. La salida de las palomitas de maíz no está bien diseñada, ya que algunas salen disparadas y hay que atraparlas para contenerlas en el tazón. Buena idea poner recetas.

sprays kernels all over the kitchen
Had to return this as it was horrible and sprayed kernels all over my kitchen! I tried facing it the other way, putting a cloth over the sides but nothing worked. Not sure how this design flaw was missed by others or if those reviews are legit. This product is absolute garbage.

Works as advertised
Mine came missing the butter cup for the top, but a standard metal 1/2 Cup measuring cup fits in there just fine and melts butter while it is running. I wouldn't recommend putting in more than 1/4 cup of kernels as a time, as they pop faster than they blow out. If you don't use butter, the popcorn is literally so dry that salt will not stick to it. Use caution where you set it up- this thing sometimes blows some of the popped corn clear across the counter instead of dropping into the bowl. It also blows some of the kernels out before they start popping. I retrieve those & throw them back in, and then it has a pretty low rate for old maids.
