These ice packs are small enough to fit in the palm of my hand, but freeze super cold — truly rock solid. I love that they fit in a small bag to keep milk chilled on the go, and the fact that they’re so sturdy makes me confident that there won’t be any leaks no matter how much things get jostled around in my diaper bag. Having a set of two is an added bonus since I can always have one in the freezer ready to go.

So, these don't last in my normal diaper bag backpack side pockets lined with that foil material to keep stuff cold. They dethaw quickly in that, but so does everything else. But I flew to florida with 6 of these lining the cooler with well over 100oz of frozen BM and they didn't dethaw. I also threw 2 giant ice packs of a different brand on top and bottom, closed the cooler, and then put the cooler in a foil material bag. I traveled with layovers and we spent 12 hours traveling on our way back and the BM was still frozen solid when we got back. Even in Florida heat and being stored in the overhead compartment. These are great and I will continue to use these.

I bought these to keep pumped milk at work cold. I loved them initially because they froze quickly and stayed cold for at least 12 hrs at work. I bought them to go with the Idaho Jones wearable breast pump bag with cooler which fit with three 6-8oz bottles with some adjusting. I’m fairly careful with the ice packs and getting them into bag without scraping or jamming them into bag as I don’t want the bag zipper to be forced or ripped. Anyways after about a month the ice packs started leaking the gel inside. Although they worked and I did love the longevity of the ice packs in keeping my breast milk cold I think the packaging wasn’t sturdy enough or has to be frozen in a specific form to not have potential of tearing in more tight fit bags/coolers. Update: contacted by seller and was sent replacements. So five stars to customer service for fixing the issue. Hopefully this set last longer!

On pack appearred to have leaked. Was able to utilize though. Worked out fine.

The Idaho Jones gel ice packs are the perfect size, making them convenient to throw in a cooler to keep breastmilk or your lunch cold. I like that they do not leak everywhere since they are made of gel. I don’t think there is as much, if any, condensation that comes off of them, leaving whatever bag you are using them in dry.

Final Edit: The replacement bags also leaked after only a few uses. I ended up using a different ice pack for the remainder of my pumping journey. Do not recommend. Edited due to customer service: Idaho Jones reached out to me and sent me replacement bags after I posted my initial review. This was without me contacting the company directly or asking for a return/refund on Amazon. The new bags have not leaked and have kept my pumped milk cold while I’m at work. The customer service was great and I appreciated them quickly remedying the issue even without a request from me. Original review: These leaked the first time I used them. Slimy gel all over the inside of my cooler bag.

These are smaller and not as thick as standard ice packs. These work great with smaller coolers. With the plastic packet the gel/freezing material can easily be frozen in a manner that allows it to form fit (within reason) around bottles, cans, other materials. I have also frozen them in a curved shape and placed them on top of my shoulder to help them stay in place when I am icing it down.
