Firstly, I'll say that this is a good lotion that absorbs quickly, but I'm going to follow up with it is not a good top layer. This lotion should go on first as a base, then you should use something with a little more thickness like CereVe. If you use this by itself, it will work, but I just feel like you need a thicker sealant on top of this to protect it, if that makes sense. It won't stand up on its own.Other than that as a caveat, this is a good solid choice for lotion. I think I don't have to extol its virtues too much, because it's not a secret. I could wish that it was a bit cheaper, as a product, but the amount that you get for the utility is pretty darn great. It doesn't have a heavy fragrance at ALL, so it is ideal if you have allergies. It is light and gives your skin a delicate layer of moisture that is a relief in the winter months.

Affordable and works well. The formula changed a little. 10 years ago I remember it being more greasy. This formula is more lightweight than the older version. It is slightly less expensive and longer lasting than Cerave Daily Moisturizing Lotion because it's a little heavier than Cerave and you don't need to use as much...which is why I stick to Cetaphil to use on my body and Cerave for my face. Neither break me out (but there are some ingredients in Cetaphil that may make some people breakout...). Cerave also dries quicker and feels nicer in my opinion.

If you have sensitive skin and want to really take care of it, Cetaphil is perfect. I’ve been using this lotion for years - no scent, no dyes, non greasy (no oily residue). Leaves your skin soft, goes a long way. Great value and very high quality skin care product.

This moisturizer is amazing. It is super hydrating, absorbs quickly, and doesn't leave a greasy residue. It has been a lifesaver for soothing and repairing my skin barrier whenever it gets irritated. Perfect for daily use on both face and body. Highly recommend!
