If you're exchanging coolant, I would say one of these kits is a necessity. Trying to do this with a regular funnel is such a mess, but with this funnel kit, I was able to refill the coolant without spilling a drop. It worked well (with the green adapters) on my 2018 Mazda3 2.5L, and it made the job so much easier. It was very secure in the radiator, even while the engine was running.

I had to replace a thermostat on my jeep, and I used this to "burp" the cooling system (get the air out of the lines). It came with 3 different size fittings and one fit my vehicle. It made the job much easier and much less spilling of antifreeze / coolant. It was less than half the price my local auto store wanted, and they didn't have it in stock anyway.

It did the job and met the expectations for the money spent (very little. 😉 You get what you pay for. Couple notes to all them shade tree homies. Don’t fill the funnel too high. Fluid expands with heat and will rise right before the thermostat opens and it sucks it in. Coolant will go everywhere. Just a couple inches worth and be prepared to run through a good 10-12 cycles to get all the air out in a JK. Or, pull the electric fan fuse, (can’t stress this enough), so it stays hot enough to keep the thermostat wide open and coolant circulating. Quickest method. If the fan comes on, engine cools and the thermostat closes and you MUST wait for temp to rise again and thermo to re-open. Also, heat makes the funnel get loose and it’ll blow or fall off so keep pressure on it but don’t get burnt. I know it sounds contradictory but don’t wear gloves. The coolant will be hot on skin but if you wear gloves and it gets in between your hand and glove it’ll burn you bad in the time you fight to remove the gloves. Be prepared to clean up a mess. It’s inevitable. Preferably have a second person who’s okay with a mild burn 😂 to keep pressure on the funnel cuz you’ll be needed to keep adding a little at a time to the funnel.

Purchased to do a drain and fill on a 2018 Toyota RAV4. Funnel fit perfectly on the coolant reservoir--no adapter needed--and kept a tight seal to help burp the system as coolant was added. Really made to fill process easy and mess free. Definitely recommend for anyone with an application similar to mine.

Haven't fit-tested every adapter in the kit, but the blue set fit a 2007 Tacoma 4.0 and seems to eliminated air from system in single use. Plastic pieces are substantial and well finished. Everything stores neatly in the funnel, with included lid. Useful and well executed.

Excellent item material and quality are top standards l also liked the different fittings for different cars perfect item to use when performing a coolant flush and burp the cooling system also liked the stopper you can pour the leftover coolant back the the reservoir or leftover gallon . Definitely a great product for DIY projects and car enthusiasts
