Not intended for walking
My feet are always cold, especially when watching tv. I do like these booties. They are large (I wear a 9.5 women's shoe; I do not think any shoe size above 10 womens would be long enough ?) they are cumbersome, and heavy. I microwaved each bootie (by itself) for 1 minute (total of 2 minutes). They stayed warm for an hour plus, but my feet continued to feel warm and comfortable much longer. Because the contents move around they are quite UN-comfortable to walk in. Consequently, I keep a pair of slippers close by in case I need to slip them on to walk.1. the heat feels moist. I liken it to the warm wax put on your feet during a pedicure.2. the booties cover my ankles which is big plus for me.3. because of the weight I cannot comfortably cross my legs. medically that might be a plus? I supposebecause of their weight they hold heat longer.4. I did not notice any objective odors and I have a very sensitive nose.5. the convenience of no extension cords or heating pads is a plus. Personally, I would not microwavelonger than a minute for each bootie. My opinion is overheating would not be good for the bootieor my foot.

Follow heating instructions.
Love these. My feet stay cold but these are a warm welcome for my feet. They are heavy so get comfortable while using them.

All round functionality surpasses other cheeper models.
These are among the best on the market but they are heavy, and make walking in they very difficult.Note that these are large and need a large microwave. Or stack carefully. Otherwise they will get stuck and not rotate. Like many the stuffing can shift. Still the temp is perfect at 1 min.

Don't buy if you suffer from swollen ankles.
Booties are too narrow for wider ankles. Neuropathic legs and ankles tend to swell and the booties could not accommodate a wider foot.Nice idea, but does not work as intended for us.AQuality seems to be good.

Don't hesitate, just buy yourself these wonder boots!
If you're reading this review it's because you have foot pain and you're looking for a solution. I'm here to tell you THIS IS IT!First the problem we were solving: my son's icy cold feet from Raynaud's and and my super high arches that get sore and flare up all the time.We scanned through the options on Amazon and found that these booties were the only ones that offered heat all over your foot.SOLD! We ordered and impatiently waited for them to arrive.Happily they showed up literally in one day and we tore open the box and heated them up immediately. It is simply heaven to have these on, and they stay warm for such a long time. In fact we may have to order a second pair so there's no waiting for someone to be done with them. I can't stress what a fantastic product this is so don't even bother with anything else. The fabric is super soft and they warm every part of your foot including your ankles. We went with the unscented option as we're not big fans of scented things. And to answer the question that everyone seems to be asking about all of these microwavable booties: Can you walk in them? Sure, you can waddle around like you're wearing ankle weights but where do you need to go? This is therapy, you're supposed to put them on and relax not head off the work ;)So treat yourself, our only regret is that we didn't buy them sooner!

Didn’t know how much I needed these
These heat up well in the microwave. They are big for me small feet (5.5-6) but I still like them. I wish they had a strap around the arch, which is besides my ankle the most soar achy part of my feet at the end of the day. They aren’t a shoe, they are not meant to walk around in. They are comfortable. They can be hard to put on if you are having knee or ankle issues but doable. Once you figure them out they become easier to get on. I’d say they are a bit pricey especially since only NEED the left due to an injury (I do enjoy having both tho) so I wish I could have bought one cheaper. They do their job and work as expected, don’t over heat them, it’s easy to do. They are cost and thick. I would buy again, and didn’t realize how much I needed these. Wrapping my feet in a flat heat pack is very difficult and not as effective.

Doesn’t stay warm very long
I put these in the microwave for 3 minutes. They get hot but only remain hot for about 15 minutes maximum. I wouldn’t waste your money if your liking for mor than that. I’m going back to my electric warmer.

Big Ole' Booties
Much bigger than I thought. I may have to get a bigger Microwave! I burned up my previous 'warmer socks' that I loved. Those only had warmer pads on the bottom. These have pads for the ankles also. Must follow directions on heating. Pretty heavy and I love them. I am a woman's size 12 and they fit.
