This feeder cover came packed in a foam sleeve that was inside a black drawstring bag [as shown]. Unfortunately the box it came in was wrecked thanks to the carrier, but everything arrived unscathed.The cover looks great & functions as expected. It comes with one long hook and two shorter hooks that easily screw into the top and bottom of the cover making assembly a breeze. The included image shows the two short hooks. I feel like this cover really speaks for itself.Now, not to knock this product, but i do feel like there are better covers out there for the money. It just so happens none of them look like this. So if you're looking for a more durable, year round cover, there are better options. However if you're looking at this because of how it looks, it's still worth adding to a feeder of your choosing because it really does look nice. If there are any issues, color fade or it doesn't hold up well I will be sure to update.

These are the best. I’ve been feeding hummingbirds for a few years now and these were a great addition to my feeders. They not only protect the feeders from the sun but also the rain. I noticed a few hummers eating at the feeders in the middle of a steady rain. It seemed like they spent a lot of time there using the area to escape the rain.The umbrellas not only protect the humming birds from the sun and rain but is also squirrel proof.Every couple of weeks, I clean the umbrellas but that is the only maintenance needed. I leave the umbrellas up all year since we live in California and hummers visit us all the time. They have not deteriorated at all. They are a bit pricey but have lasting a long time.

This is very cute and looks great in person. Feels well made and sturdy. I am located in north Alabama so it's important to keep the sun from bearing down on the feeder and spoiling the nectar. I like that this cover provides about 4 extra hours of shade between 11am and 3pm. The drawbacks are that it now wobbles quite a bit if there's a breeze. The hooks also drop the feeder about 6 inches lower. I wish the metal hook could go straight through the cover and screw directly into my feeder for added stability, maybe if it could be supported by a rubber o-ring to keep it from slipping. But the connectors aren't built that way. I look forward to seeing how the birds respond to having shade in the southern heat this summer.

These are wonderful! Not only do they help with the shade but also from the rain. I have one of these for each of my 4 feeders. Very happy with my purchase.

I bought two of these for our resident hummingbirds and am delighted with how pretty they look while keeping the weather off of the hummingbirds feeders, sun, rain, other birds, and so on. One day we had a very windy day and one of the covers blew to the ground and unfortunately came apart. There wasn’t anyway that we could find to repair the two pieces, the center blue piece and the outer red “petals” so now I have the one cover that is comprised of only the center blue piece. It had not occurred to me that something like this could happen. I will say we were impressed with the packing when they were delivered, each came in its own stringed bag and the quality was good, just the design proved to be a problem. They were hung over grass but were on a 6 foot post with a crossbar and hung on hooks from there, one on each side of the post.

Product is made well and very durable and easy to cleanwell. My hummers wouldn't go to the feeder at first so I placed it next to the feeder so they could get used to it. After a few days I put it on the feeder and they were fine. By the way it has a built in ant moat.(big plus)
