GREAT FOR MY GECKOS TANK
Great substrate for my terrarium! It has a nice natural texture and does a good job helping maintain humidity without being overly messy. The 8-quart bag is a good size and was easy to spread throughout the enclosure. I like that it creates a more natural-looking environment for reptiles and works well for keeping the habitat comfortable. Overall, good quality and a great addition to my terrarium setup!

Super good! Don’t leave bag open tho
I’ve used for my bugs and for my terrarium. Very good. One thing to note though is that if you leave the bag open and you have cockroaches around, they might lay eggs/ have their babies in there. Learned this the hard way 🫡

first and foremost, yes absolutely rinse these OUTSIDE as the clay dust can really eff up your pipes. THIS product came so clean, i rinsed about 3 times for good measure but these weren't nearly as dusty as other brands i've gotten. product does exactly what it is supposed to do, and my frog tanks look fantastic. one bag successfully used for (3) 12x12 terrariums, with enough leftover for about one more tank. i will be purchasing again so i can redo my other tanks but definitely recommend this brand for value and cleanliness.

Holds moisture
I got this to mix with loose coconut fiber substrate for my snake. Turns out this holds moisture so well that it made the humidity too high for my type of snake, so it won't work for me. But if holding a high percentage of moisture is your goal this just might work for you.

Excellent pour terrarium (gecko léopard)
J'ai dû choisir un nouveau substrat pour mon gecko léopard. L'ancien ne faisait plus. Lorsque j'ai remis mon gecko dans son terrarium après nettoyage avec ce nouveau substrat, il se promenait gaiement. Ça faisait longtemps que je ne l'avais pas vu ainsi, apprécier son habitat. Je recommande fortement ! De plus, avec la quantité disponible dans le sac, j'en ai pour au moins deux fois !

SPLINTERS
my hands are FULL of splinters after just moving the soil around the terrarium, glad this will be my bottom layer because i wouldn't trust an animal to live in this at all.

I bought 2 of these because some reviews had said the bag was small, it’s not! Great value for money & excellent quality! 100% recommend. My terrarium is 18x18x24
