Camera washes out white under sunny conditions
This is not as clear as described. No matter the camera brand, anyone who knows how to install and route these properly and professionally knows how difficult and time consuming it can be. This unit adheres well and looks excellent, some have complained about the mailability of the rubber housing, but that is the point of this unit lol, to conform to contours. The quality is decent and plenty of wire to route a full size truck. The camera itself is of inferior quality in my opinion. When loading a goosneck trailer on a sunny day, everything washes white. It does not like sunspots especially. CS told me to turn down my head unit’s brightness 🤣. No adjustment can be made to effectively change the washout. Perhaps I received a faulty unit and if provided a replacement I will remedy this review to reflect any changes in a replacement.

Best rear view camera out there !!!
If i could give 10 stars I would. I installed on the back of my f150 between the tailgate handle and the emblem. Just removed handle and made a notch for the wire to go through. Works great ! Good picture and I can move it to point down for lining a trailer up to the hitch. Very nice product. Been over a year and still works flawlessly. I haven't had any issues at all even though it's mounted where it's wide open to the elements and dirt. I love that I can angle it down when lining up the trailer to the hitch. I'm buying another one for my Sonata as soon as I finish typing. Awesome product and way better looking than 95% of the competition. Mounts easily with no holes being drilled.

Probably My Favorite Camera for the Truck
This is definitely one of my favorite cameras that I've added to the truck. I have eight cameras in total, and these are by far the best. The image quality is clear, and the rotatable lens gives great flexibility in positioning. I really like the paste installation—it was quick and easy to install without any drilling. The upside-down flip image function is a nice touch, especially for rear and side views. These cameras make it easier to navigate tight spaces, and they hold up well in all weather conditions. If you're looking to add reliable cameras to your vehicle, I highly recommend these. They’ve been a game-changer for me.

It works very well for my use, it might work well for yours too.
I had a problem and came up with the solution using this and a couple of other products. We have a 5th wheel RV and I wanted to be able to line it up when connecting the RV to the 5th wheel hitch. When we have the back seats up in our 2004 Chevy Silverado crew cab, I can't see the hitch and wanted to fix that. Yes, you can use those magnetic tennis balls on collapsible poles and I have used those, but they actually work better with our travel trailer when connecting that RV. I shopped on Amazon and got the idea, a small camera to a small screen as a high back up camera would be able to easily see the pin box on the 5th wheel and the hitch in the truck bed. I bought this product and also got the "4.3 inch foldable monitor" by E-Kylin, all from Amazon sellers. As shown in the photos, I mounted the camera under the high mounted tail light on the truck cab, I did use a round file and make a hole under the light for the wire, so it wouldn't get smashed. Then I ran the wiring inside the cab down and up to the front dash area. Using the small foldable monitor, and some extra Red and Black wire and a 12-volt power adapter. I wired the camera and the included connector for power for the monitor together to the power plug, the red power plug and yellow video plug go to the foldable monitor. Plug into the PowerPoint, and then you see the camera view on the monitor for backing and connecting. When the RV is connected, unplug the power, fold up the monitor, and you're done until next time. Only 4-stars because while there are included directions in the very nice packaging, they are of course somewhat vague and the features didn't work as the directions indicated they should. I was easily able to work around that and get it working to my satisfaction. One tip, there is a white reference line on the camera. I hadn't noticed it at all until during the mounting and installing of the camera with its strong double stick tape. As I was trying to get the camera view flipped over, as it was upside down at first, I wound up manually turning the camera around in the camera base until the video was correctly adjusted. That's when I saw the reference mark! The line is up! As needed, the video quality is fine, and the entire project was a few hours time and about forty dollars or so for all the parts needed. Problem solved for now.
