Great for Inflatable Boat
Bought this to go with our Takacat inflatable boat. After pumping it up by hand once, it became clear that we needed a pump. The boat manufacturer sells a pump for about $60 that fills the air chambers up to where the pressure starts to build up, then you have to attach the manual pump and do the rest by hand. This one is more expensive, but works much better: just set the desired pressure (in our case, 3 psi) and it automatically fills the chamber up all the way and then stops. It took less than 4 minutes to fill each 10 foot long chamber. After it finishes filling, it continues to run an internal fan to keep its motor cooled down so it can keep working. The pump came with the correct Halkey-Roberts adapter to fit the boat's valves. It also came with three different thicknesses of o-rings for the adapter, but even the thinnest one was too thick to work with our boat. I ended up cutting thinner ones from an old inner tube to get the valve connected. Something to try at home before you try to set up the boat in a remote area. The only other issue I found is that the air hose is very stiff, so awkward to maneuver, but nothing to detract from functioning. Highly recommended.

Used once, so far
We have only used this pump once, so far. But, it made blowing up our kayaks so much easier than with a different type of pump. I don’t know how accurate the reading is, and I don’t know exactly how much pressure should be in the kayaks, because they use a indicator strip to show when it is inflated properly. I would just run the pump, and keep an eye on the indicator, or my husband would. It inflated them very quickly, and all of the accessories. It is loud, but they all are. So far, so good. It is lightweight, and not too difficult to use.The only thing that I would improve, is the flexibility of the hose, and the length of the hose. These plastic hoses are stiffer and shorter than I would prefer, when you’re working around inflatables. But, overall, I like the pump. I would purchase it again.

Great Product
I've been using it for 2 summers now, sometimes almost daily and it works really well. It does not get hot and pumps my board in 15 minutes. The only downside is that it's very loud, but I keep it inside car while pumping, so that kind of fixes the problem.

Smooth style and finish.
A good variety of tips but the Compressor seem to have small volume output. I used it to inflate my inflatable kayak and it took longer than my old raft inflator. I was pleased with the general performance of the inflator.

Works like a charm
The size, portability, & durability are great. It’s super easy to use & inflates/deflates both my SUP & kayak very quickly getting you on the lake that much quicker. Highly recommend.

Filled 3 15psi and 1 20psi paddle boards - no sweat
Nice machine. Had to return the 1st one because it looked used/retuened from amazon and had no box. This one came in a box and filled up the 20psi and then 3 15psi paddle boards on an 80 degree day in the sun. Once I found the right fitting for the SUP boards, from the several it came with, we were all filled within 1 hour. Probably wod have been sooner had I used the right fitting. The bag helps keep everything nice and organized. It's a little on the loud side once the compressor kicks in, but it did the trick for us. Heading out again on the water tomorrow. Looking forward to beating our prep time!

None of the adapters work
Don’t think that this will work with “most boards “I have two boards and not one of the connectors works with either of them.It was a gift in March so the return window closed before it was even used. It’s super loud too. I’d never buy this again

Durable, but not practical.
This seems to be a cool pump as it has a dual-stage inflation system that allows you to inflate a drop stitch kayak or stand-up paddle at a very fast rate. However, a faster rate means a louder air pump. Get used to getting people’s attention as they look over to see what is so darn loud. After three uses, I decided to return it because the pump is only powered by a cigarette lighter and for the same price, you can get one that has a wall outlet and a portable battery. The storage bag that it came to seems to be nice but it’s not, the Valwix air pump is oddly shaped which makes it difficult to store and put away. On a positive note, the hose and multiple adapters are really good quality, the plastic is thick and won’t break very easily. It’s important to note that the durability of this pump is not an issue; you do get an extra cigarette lighter adapter in case you lose one.
