The old ones did not adjust and were plugged up over time. So these are a good replacement

Works very well
Simple to install and you don't have to select 1/4, 1/2 or full spread...you select the range and turn to adjust the spray pattern. Wish we had these a long time ago. Great product.

Some pop off randomly creating a geyser
I've had multiple of these sprinkler nozzles pop off even though they're screw on. They would be much better if they were threaded more deeply

Thread barrels too short for Orbit, Toro or Rainbird
I had to throw all the pop-up sprinkler head replacements away, I only kept the filters. The threads in the barrels are too short for Orbit, Toro or Rainbird sprinklers. They pop off as soon as water is turned on. I STRONGLY recommend you ONLY BUY BRAND SPECIFIC pop-up sprinkler head replacement parts. These generic ones are completely worthless.

Not universal; will not fit Orbit or Rain Bird
I can't say these aren't decent if they fit, because they don't, and I can't find any info on them about compatibility. Don't buy to try and thread on to Orbit or Rain Bird sprinklers, they just sort of leak and ooze rather than spray, or end up being a gyser.
