Great product, but you need 30.25 inches of real space to fit the cube’s  circular retainers.  I had 28.5 inches of real space and bought it on this basis. Luckily I was able to adapt, having bought two stacks to put one above the other. This gave me a couple of spares to cut and adapt to MY space.

BE SURE TO USE A PLIER WITH GENTLE PRESSURE WHEN PRESSING CONNECTORS ONTO CORNERS.  When you hear a slight "pop," then it is secured.  Otherwise, the panel will come loose. I also use cable ties to add panels to the middle of some of the cubes. They really are terrific. I love the product (despite it's lack of useful instructions).

Are these cubes heavy duty enough for using as Bookshelf

Accepted Answer

Yes, but when they say 15 pounds per cube they mean it. I weighed my books to be sure I only had 15 pounds, and a little bump knocked the shelf loose. I had to take out all the books and snap it together again. This is cheap and pretty, but not heavy duty.
