These 2 pair , made in Mexico , are the " real deal " cut right & stitched proper ! Too bad I can't say that about the " overseas" made ones , which shows lack of " quality control " by Levi ... in those countries . Just as well , as most of us die hard " Original Levi - 501 " would ,I believe ,prefer to keep production close to home , I'm delighted that our brothers in Mexico keep the tradition ! Keep up the stellar workmanship !

Received my jeans and after confirming the fit, immediately washed them. They developed a frayed hole in the front pocket area after the first laundering! It is significant enough that ot will only continue to get larger with each wear/wash. It seems LEVI no longer produces the same product as they used to. It’s either inferior material, bad weave or who knows what. I have been wearing 501’s most of my life. They are the last true denium jeans available today. 100% cotton regular fit straight legged jeans. I purchased a pair and received one day delivery. I hadn’t purchased a pair in over 5 years as this product is one that actually lasts. I was apprehensive as to the quality because over recent years so many manufacturers have been making clothing with inferior fabric and dyes. These new 501’s aren’t quite as heavy as they used to be but seemed to still a quality product. The button hole panel is significantly thinner but overall I was initially pleased. Unfortunately nothing is sacred any longer. I bet those two mules would rip their 501’s in half if they were to do that particular experiment today. And considering the ridiculously high price of 501’s have achieved, they should still be just as good as they once were

C'est un 501. Quand on a dit ça , je crois que l'on a tout dit. D'accord ils n'ont pas la qualité qu'ils avaient il y a 40 ans mais ils sont bien quand même . La preuve c'est mon 4eme 😉 À recommander si nécessaire
