One of the best life changing self help books
A lot of self help books work on an individual at the emotional and psychological level, but this book works on practical level. It not only theoretically explains the meaning of the 80/20 Pareto principle, but tells you actual practices on the ground level to implement the same in various areas of life.I am thankful that I became aware of this principle as early as possible in my life, so that I can extract the maximum potential from the 24 hours I get everyday. I did not realize the fact that I was already on the path suggested by this book. This book came as an assurance of the right path chosen. It is a must read for all those who wish to save and conserve energy for the important things of their lives rather than consuming themselves by doing unimportant mundane things.

Quite a simple book
Emphasis is basically on Pareto rule. Though this rule is grossly underated but its highly effective when used efficiently. This book try to highlight that and places it can be used and get benefits from it.

Must read for today's Multitaskers!!
It's very common nowadays to get overwhelmed by the amount of content/information available on the internet. This book helps us to optimize our time in doing day-to-day tasks and get more done with minimal effort. It explains that just planning our daily tasks is not sufficient, we have to build a system around it thinking what is the outcome that we really want, and then screen out things that are not significant thereby increasing our productivity. A MUST-READ BOOK FOR PRODUCTIVITY GEEKS!!

A practical guide
If you are looking at managing your life better than you currently are then this book sure will get the ball rolling. The inputs from this book can make a good difference if put into use. I have given this book a four star for the only reason that the last star is for the readers effort to make 80/20 a reality.

Very Helpful Book
I would highly recommend this book, very useful and differently changed my way of thinking. Most relevant to me were: Abandonment of Perfectionism (accept that good is good enough), not giving every task the same attention and don't continue reading a book if you are not enjoying it (sounds simply but quite hard to do). I am a big fan of self-help books, and this was the cheapest and most useful by far, in a lone while. The irony is that I found out about 80/20 while reading another book, I was not enjoying and struggling to finish, I don't feel bad not finishing it now, that's worth 5 stars on its own.

Very basic and no real detail or insight
For every chapter it basically goes:Do you struggle with [insert topic]? Uss the 80/20 rule. Honestly, if you have common sense then there is nothing to be learned from this book apart from the fact that if you focus on the right things you can achieve 80% of what you are right now with only 20% of the effort and roughly 80% of your problems come from about 20% of your life so it's all just about re-examining your life amd cutting out the unnecessary stuff. There you go, I've just saved you both your time and money!!

No substance
An almost empty pamphlet with no explanation for empty statements.

Supplies different useful ideas
Some of the valuable ideas I got from the book are:To do list items: limit them to seven, better to five.Messages: stop reading all the messages with the same level of attention and importance.Separate the critical from the trivial.80% books are a waste of time. The key is to cut through the chef and zero on 20% with 80% reward.Optimise the time for the loved ones. don't take them for granted.
