If you wanna dog the thermometer, this is the one to get it’s accurate. I’ve actually used mine on the dog. It’s the same but this hair does really good give or take 1° off but it is. It’s the closest I’ve had yet. I’ll stick with this one.

This thermometer is particularly useful for newborn and older puppies. It's quick and accurate.

Honestly maybe I'm doing it wrong but it doesn't seem complicate but the readings are very inconsistent. I used it for a pregnant foster dog I had but the reading were all over the place. Anywhere from 94 to 102. :( I was unable to use a rectal because she was not having it so I was trying for a better solution. This was not it.

I never even knew there was a digital thermometer for pets. My pup had surgery earlier this year to remove melanoma from her head. It was a good sized lump and thankfully the surgeon thinks they got it all but I have been on high alert with her to make sure she stays well. I wanted to get a thermometer to monitor her temperature as usually that seems to be the 1st sign something isnt right. This one got missorted in the mail but arrived a few days later which was awesome. It seems to be just a traditional digital thermometer but reads pretty accurately. I brought it to her last vet appointment and performed a test. This is a very nice tool to have on hand if you are a pet owner. Normally the only way to get a pets temp is rectally and well who wants to do all that. Not me thats for sure. I was happy to see this also included 4 AAA batteries it only takes 2 batteries at a time so the extra 2 I will keep in the box.

I got this to monitor the health of foster cats and kittens, but it seems a little too big to give accurate temperatures. I kept getting a 97.5° reading. Over and over on the little cars.

My sweet mineature poodle let me take his temp with no problem at all.

I was really looking forward for this thermometer to work. The temperature is not accurate even though we followed the instructions. I wish this would work as I am always worried to hurt my dog with the anal thermometer. We used an anal thermometer to confirm the temperature and it was at least 10 degrees off. Returned product!

Very easy to use and it is not invasive for cats so it was very easy to take their temperature. comes with 4 batteries. excellent investment
