Seems good so far
I bought this after a long battle with Currys and was pleasantly surprised. It arrived quickly and was easy to set up. The keyboard has a nice "clack" to it. The mouse is a bit too sensitive for my liking, but I'm sure I can turn it down (or get used to it). I do get a bit annoyed with "My Asus" trying to set itself up every so often, but I just tell it to close when it tries. It's a bit soon to say how good it is long term, but I have high hopes.

You'll be surprised for the money, aside the 408p webcam in 2021 let alone 2022.
I'm currently typing this from the said laptop, it was a great purchase for my first Windows laptop in years. Yes it's still mainly plastic construction, but it makes up for that in many areas. Asus have produced a really solid product for the price, not to mention the keyboard. It's pretty amazing, dare I say close to how good a Macbook Pro keyboard is for half the price. If you want a Macbook, I would consider making funds for one bc it's really what you want. Saying that though, this laptop is more than capable of light gaming, streaming games on Xbox Game Pass without an issue and even light VALORANT (Riot Games) video gaming. Even just everyday tasks. It's perfect and you won't be unhappy for the price!!

Good value laptop
Purchased to replace an aging I3 unit and used to deliver home tutoring and general home requirements. Easily set up out of the box and delivering fast performance so far. Display is sharp and easy on the eye. Only small niggle concerns the keyboard which has small keys that feel too close together and the US style small key takes a little getting used to. Neither issue being enough to detract too much from what is a well priced and well specified machine. Not able to comment on the battery life since the machine stays in the study with the power on.

Touchpad failed under a year
Under a year and the touch pad is failing, covered under warranty but still very inconvenient losing your laptop for 2 working weeks. I am told this is a common problem, if the replacement touch pad last under a year I won't by Asus again. Otherwise nice laptop. 👌

The perfect Xmas gift
This was purchased as a Xmas gift. The recipient was delighted. As no complaints it would appear everything to do with this laptop is a success. This particular laptop was an up to date version of previous model. Arrived on time, delivered safely, environmentally packed.
