Q: Does it work with plastic rivets ?

It does not have a nose piece die with a hole big enough for a plastic rivet stem. I intend to find another die or maybe take one of the four that came with the unit and open up the whole for the plastic rivets. I did run one plastic rivet without any die. it did not work as well as it would with a die but it does seem as if it will feed it when I do get the die fixed. I don't know when I will get around to it.

Q: Can this tool be used with imperial sized rivets?

It worked great for standard 3/16" pop rivets. There are 4 sizes it will work with. The specs have metric equivalents along with the inch values. I hope this answers your question.
