Marching In Time

Just In Time...
After the first two brilliant albums from Tremonti (All I Was and Cauterize) I felt that the third (Dust) and fourth (Dying Machine) weren't quite as good and was concerned that 'Marching In Time' might affirm a waning of the great man's skills. I needn't have worried - this is a superb album; far more complex and interesting than his most recent efforts and very close to his first two offerings. If there is one tiny criticism it might be that the sound is quite 'engineered' - but that could just be my new headphones :)Oh...and on the drummers (they are important because there is a lot of drumming on Tremonti albums - mostly in 64th notes! :) . The new guy Ryan Bennett is great...accurate, clinical...but I think I miss Garrett Whitlock... great presence behind the kit live... and sounds a bit more 'raw' on his albums - but I guess that could be down to overall production too. Rock on!

Tremonti Tops The Dying Machine
I honestly did not think that Tremonti Marching In Time could have topped it's predecessor "A Dying Machine" , but it certainly has. Following 4 previous top notch solo albums, Tremonti hits with a stunner. Flawless from track 1 "A World Apart" to the closing "Marching In Time". Will never understand how Tremonti is sometimes labelled under the genre "metal". Tremonti is not remotely metal. They are pure vintage heavy hard rock. His voice is once again top drawer. Looking forward to the Dublin gig in Jan 2022 as the Dying Machine tour was one of the best gigs I have seen. Hopefully will go ahead. Well done Mark Tremonti. A must have album for lovers of good honest hark rock. 5 star from track 1 to track 12Cor Regan (ROI)

Strong album
A small change of line up has made a huge difference to Marks band. The addition of a better drummer who has a greater number of strings to his bow in terms of playing and a solid bass player has now cemented the strength of this side project. To be honest (as a massive AB fan) I actually prefer the harder edge of Tremonti to AB and this band doesn’t end up with lots of predictable power ballads and dull anthems that is the go to sound for AB of recent years. With only one track I skip that is the mark of an excellent album for me and it’s easily the best and most consistent album so far under the Tremonti name. If Mark quit AB and continued with this to be honest I wouldn’t be too disappointed

Absolutely brilliant
This album is absolutely amazing, all the songs are good and I can't stop playing it! Mark tremonti is brilliant no matter whether with creed, alter bridge or tremonti, everything is brilliant but I think this album is the best yet! I am hooked!

Excellent!
Great rock band and excellent album!! After all these years "All I Was" is still the best album with the best drummer - but this new album is awesome! Thank you to Mark Tremonti and his band.

Metal heads will like
Deep bass and metal throb, was bought as a gift and seems to have gone down well

Another banger from Tremonti
Another selection of heavy yet melodic modern metal. Vocally, Tremonti has come a long way in terms of power and confidence. The guy simply cannot write a poor song. Awesome musicianship throughout.

If there was a sixth star I would give it.
Amazing album from Tremonti track one is probably one heavy hitter to kick things off and it flows on from there.
