Absolutely top-notch. Great size, great sound, great quality and great functionality. And a very good value for the money compared to many other brands. The XLR jacks are tiny and made entirely of metal by Neutrik. They slide on and off effortlessly. The cable is made in Germany. The unit is very tightly assembled too. I used with the Audio-Technica AT875R. I love Alvin's Cables. Look no further. Highly recommended!

Pro connectors, really low profile
> Alvin’s Cables Low-Profile 3 Pin XLR Male to Female Cable Original Connector Balanced Microphone Audio CordThe Good:+ Low profile design based on quality Neutrik connectors.+ Very lightweight, while still using quality connectors. The Bad:- Not repairable in the field--cannot open without tools. No idea how good the stress relief is.- Sommer SO-D14 cable specs shows a mesh shield, but this cable is really thin with little outer sheath protection. This should only be used for short jumpers that are not subject to abuse such as being stepped on.I believe this is using a custom-made aluminum end for standard Neutrik connectors. Like most of Alvin's Cables, this is a quality product. Looks like it's designed specifically as a jumper between boom mic and transmitter, or for bag connections, although the connectors are still a bit weighty. I still need to run RF tests on if the cable picks up stray noise because I really don't feel any shielding through the thin outer insulation. With these pro-level connectors, I would trust this in a live setting, with the knowledge that it cannot be abused.

Really Nice Low Profile XLRS!
These XLR's are super cool, pricey! But still cool. These are really great when you're doing major patching, just makes everything a lot cleaner and definitely a lighter weight on your XLR ins and outs
