Good cables for an old ipad

The charging cord that came with my older iPad was in rough shape and needed replacing. In the past, I’ve tried other non-Apple brands and the iPad would not “recognize” them but it LIKED this one! Initially, I thought it was the wrong one because I couldn’t get it to go in but with a little more force, success! The plus side of the snug fit is that it doesn’t fall out like the Apple one. This is one sturdy cord! If it stops working I think I could use it to secure items to the top of my car. I personally like the 10 foot length. My pet peeve is electronics that come with stupidly short power/charging cords. It’s also very nice looking!

my old charging cable for my IPhone 4 finally quit working. and since they haven't made an IPhone with this type of charger in years I was worried I wouldn't be able to find one. Since I only use this phone as music device I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg. I found this set and have not been disappointed. I have been using one for about 6 months now with no issues and because it came as a 2 pack I have a spare when this one dies. Would recommend.

Was in need of new Ipod charging cables and this seemed to fit the bill. These fit perfectly and the length of the cable is great. Not to mention that this is a good deal. If I ever need another cable, I'd buy these again.

Perfect hookup and the length is terrific. Powers up my older ipod with no problems. Strong cabling is deeply appreciated and a plus when on travel.

Excellent product and on time.

The cable and connectors are very well made, of high strength materials. It will probably last a long time. However, the connecter that attaches to the iPod does not provide a secure connection. The connector will slide out of position at the slightest provocation. There are no retainer clips such as there were on the original Apple cables. If you do not plan to move the iPod around when using the cable then this will work just fine. But if you have to pick up the iPod to change songs or settings with the cable attached, the cable will easily slide out of the connector in the iPod. I only gave it one star for charging because this device has no effect on the efficacy of charging the iPod, it charges it if attached to a USB power source, it does nothing otherwise. I don't see the need for that category to be included in this assessment. Were the cable itself be a power source then this criteria would be germane, but it is not.

I have one of the earlier iPods and the charger no longer worked and I thought that was the end of its use. Thankfully, I didn’t throw it away and purchased this charging cable. Works well and it feels very robust when connecting and disconnecting. Brought an old favourite back to life!
