I look at a lot of devices to attach a water bottle to the handlebars of my ebike but the curve of the handlebars would force me to install the bracket at an awkward angle. By attaching this bracket using the stem top allowed me to install the bottle in a very convenient location. Good "thinking outside the box" guys!

This mount is designed for use with a standard 1-1/8" Aheadset stem, which is standard on most quality adult bikes built since 1995. The mechanical design is well-thought out and allows a great range of adjustability. I'm using this on an indoor trainer, so I can't speak to sturdiness on the trail, but it appears to be robust enough for road use. 100% aluminum construction (no plastic) - the machining is just OK and the part appears to be powder coated. At this price point, I would have expected an anodized finish.This does require 3mm, 4mm and 5mm allen keys or wrenches to install, which are NOT included. The manufacturer also did not include the M6x1.0 bolt to mount to the star nut - you have to re-use the one from the stem cap that came with your bike. At this price point, the various cost-cutting deserved a 1-star deduct.One last note, the 1-star and 2-star reviewers tried to install this on an old-style quill stem, for which it is not designed. Make certain you have an Aheadset style stem.

I purchased a new Giant ebike with a step thru frame. If I mounted a bottle cage on the seat or down tube, it would have negated the purpose of the open design (ease of getting on and off the bike). This handy gadget was a great solution. It actually took about two minutes to install. I tried several different positions, and finally swung it to the right side for more clearance. It's light but plenty strong, and a good value. Very clever design. The weight of a full bottle doesn't affect the steering at all.

We were having a really hard time finding a place to put a water bottle on my daughter’s bike...this did the trick! Installed easily, then attached a bottle frame to it. Sturdy fit and now have a great place for her water bottle.

I mounted this on a recumbent trike because I had no other room for mounting anyplace else that would be convenient. Easy to install and adjust to the desired position. I then took a 45 mile ride over a gravel trail, with too many bumps, and it stayed in position as it should. After the ride I checked and all the attachment and adjusting screws were still tight.

Offers a convenient location for your water bottle. Perfect for my city bike. I can remain in a upright position and have access to my water right in front of me. Stays fixed in the angle selected. Being anchored to the steerer tube is a solid attachment.

Does exactly what is supposed to do and quality of the material is good. Happy with my purchase.

Perfect for my step-through bike. Fits right and works well. Keep in mind it is only the stem mount you will still need a cage/holder.
