Strudy/Well made/Looks nice
I installed a side door on my garage that was below the second story so there wasn't any eaves to protect it. The door can be seen from the front so didn't want anything junky on my new house. So after shopping around a lot I took a chance on this awning and I'm glad I did. It's nicely made, sturdy, relatively easy to assemble and looks really good...not like a home made add on. I live in a very high wind area below Mt Rainier and we get some really high winds and the occasional heavy snow. As such, I expected to have to beef it up in terms of how it was attached to the house. As it turns out it seemed beefy enough as it was without having to do anything extra. It came with 4 welded on "tabs" on the main brackets so I just used long heavy lag bolts/screws and bolted it right to the frame of the house. The hard part was holding it in place by myself but I managed by hanging the assembled unit off of some temporarily installed braces that I attached to the house and removed later. It's been in place for about 2 years and we've had some crazy windstorms and good snows it hasn't budged. The only thing I would do differently would be to spray paint the bolts that it came with. I notice that a couple of them on the lower part of the unit have rusted a little. I'm thinking I can easily replace them with galvanized ones or take them off and spray paint them one at a time. Other than that, having a door in the garage has been awesome but being able to step outside under this handsome awning without getting wet, makes me smile every time I take the trash out.

Great quality, instructions could be improved
I bought this to install over my outdoor EV charging equipment to give some shelter from direct sun, hail, snow. I wanted a strong structure that would look good. Pros: - very solid - looks professional quality - fairly quick to build (about 60-90 minutes working by myself) - included some (but not all) mounting hardware Cons: - written instructions and YouTube video seem to be partially outdated and could be clearer about to orient some pieces so drill holes are in proper orientation. - I had to undo two steps when I realized I missed a detail and hadnโt assembled some pieces correctly. - The upper lip/rain shield comes with nice mounting hardware. Rest of the structure doesnโt come with mounting hardware. I was able to get what I needed from local hardware store for a few dollars. - The instructions call for a clip that attaches the awning to the rain lip but the piece wasnโt included with the 3 foot version. Doesnโt seem needed. - wouldโve liked more details on how to mount this in a brick wall. Instructions referenced M6/M8 hardware but details like washers would be nice. Notes: - installing this on the wall is a 2-3 person job. The assembled awning weighs 40 lbs and holding this in place while drilling in mounting hardware was a challenge with my wife using the power drill while I held the awning. - the awning is open on both sides. This isnโt a surprise and the pictures make this clear. To keep out rain/snow, would be nice to have an option to buy closed side pieces.

Excellent quality and packaging
The quality was excellent. Not only was the awning put together really well, the packaging of it was quite amazing. I have never seen anything this size that was packaged so well in my life. I couldnโt believe the expert packaging. It comes with a bottle of fingernail polish for touch-ups, but there wasnโt a single scratch or dent on mine. The instructions were a little hard to follow, but they have a YouTube video that makes it easier. I love mine. It looks great.

Nice unit.
We received our 80 inch awning today, it took us about an hour to put it together, one thing I would highly recommend is not using the enclosed (50) screws, they are self tapping, but they consistently break before completing the hole! Went together quite easy and it is very sturdy. I believe the center support has been updated to allow the awning to sit lower on the window or door, which is definitely needed!

High Quality, Light, Expensive
Itโs high quality, but honestly is pretty expensive for what you get. The side screws suck and break, but besides that itโs a great product. Just expensive.

Solid, attractive and fairly easy to install
I purchased the 48" awning to cover a recently installed split HVAC unit. The unit sat under the eave and was gathering ice when the snow melted and refroze. Did some research and settle on this awning. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations as I was leaning towards building a cover out of wood. But I gave this a try and I'm very glad I did. My son and I were able to assemble it (easy process) and install it (likely a 2-person job) within an hour or so. It absolutely does the trick of protecting the unit and I'm pleased I gave this a shot. Worth the money in my opinion!

A Quality Awning
A one person project to assemble but two persons needed to mount. The quality of materials are good. I recommend that you label the parts with some blue tape with the corresponding letters/numbers for easier assembly. To mount it, I made a template out of 1โx3โ lumber.

Really beautiful and an asset to our home
Loved the beauty of this awning. Does exactly what I wanted to block sun and it protects the door from the weather.
