Perfect! Exactly what I had in mind!
We have small, short end tables next to a church pew in our entryway, and the lamp being low was so bright when walking by it. The bulbs still allow plenty of light (the chrome on the inside of the coating reflects the light down), but keep it out of your face. The coating is completely solid and looks very nice with the lamp, and the color of the light is warm without being too yellow. I will continue to buy these for this space!

Keeps glare out of my eyes.
Bought this for a pendant light over a small dining table and the bare bulb kept shinning in my eyes. Problem solved. Another benefit is that there is more reflected light.

Keeps glare out of eyes.
This bulb served its purpose. I bought a new overhead light that the shade did not cover the bulb. I ended up purchasing this and it serves the purpose. A glare is not blinding us but I will admit it does not give off as much light as we wanted in this area.

Good Lights!
Great light, came packaged well - nice dim hue exactly as described

Using for outside post/walkway lighting. Perfect. Not too bright, not to dark. Light pollution is eliminated going in other directions that are not needed.

Burn out quickly.
The lifespan of these guys is very short. I have a ceiling fixture that uses 6 of these bulbs and I’d say I’m replacing one bulb every couple months now. Look great, but question their quality.

Love these bulbs!
I have used these bulbs in several projects. They look awesome! They project a warm light without the glare of a regular LED bulb thanks to the dark coating on the bulb's bottom half. I will be purchasing more in the near future as I start new lighting projects.
