Generic 5 Pairs Replacement Ear Cushion Pads for MDR-Q55 MDR-Q21LP Q22 Q68 Q38 BT140Q

I am reluctantly giving these a 5 STAR review, here is why:ProsThey arrived on time. They came from China, I did not realize that, but they did arrive at the earliest of when the projected arrival time-frame said.They work on the MDR-Q55 Sony headphone that I got years ago. The headphones are still excellent and it would have been a shame to throw out!They seem sturdy enough.Are strong. (I'm only using one set so far, I got them yesterday, but from the current experience.ConsIt was quite the job to get them on the ear pieces.Maybe it was me, as the only experience I have with this, was putting on easy replacement pads to different kinds of headphones years ago. These headphones are much more difficult and might have been difficult no matter what because of the piece that goes around the ear being in the way. It does NOT come off, and the earpieces are separate, being held together by a cord-like wire. It was just awkward and without instructions on how to do it easily, it took a good deal of time - this first time.What I would suggest for anyone who gets them is to *carefully* expand the opening to stretch it enough to fit around the earpiece. Do it carefully.I WOULD recommend these IF you have weeks to wait for them to arrive, as they are coming from China. There WERE shipped out to me immediately after I ordered. I had my doubts that theses would fit my Sony MDR-Q55.... but they did!

The ear cushion pads worked out great for my exercise earphones.
