Are the edges of these brackets smooth?

The quality of these brackets exceeded my expectations, sturdy construction, smooth and burr-free, and the included screws are of excellent quality. Perfect fit to my cabinet corner braces. very easy to install. Would recommend, and buy again.

I'm afraid to use the screws that come with these brackets. What size did you use to replace them - #6, #7, #8?

The screws were just the right depth and had no problems going into the holes I center-punched. The head of the screw sinks flush with the surface of the L-bracket so you end up with a flat surface area. Overall a good shopping experience. Would come back again if needed.

How many of these would I need to brace the corners of a bed platform?

I have no idea without seeing the platform. I will say that I made a table with 4x4" legs (4 legs) and put two braces per side of the 4x4s. That's 8 braces per leg. I wanted the screws to bite in deeper, so I bought longer screws to anchor the braces. I'm able to sit on it and bounce around without the table shaking at all.

Can these be used on an aluminum extustion greenhouse?

I'm sure the bracket would satisfy your needs, however I'm not a fastening expert, but your might consider replacing the fastening hardware / or verifying the provided screws will properly secure it to your aluminum structure.

Brackets are good and screws are a bit weak.

The brackets are study and well finished. The screws (as would be expected at this price) are easy to strip and of a relatively soft metal. They are usable, but care is needed. I bought 3 packs and they worked well.

Exactly What I Needed

The cheap plastic brackets broke off a dresser so I repaired it using these. The only down side would be that you have to buy 40 when you need 3. For the price, it was worth it to be able to use the dresser again.
