Great Product
The media could not be loaded. I like that I can unload cargo quickly, I dislike that loose cargo like soil and mulch does fall of the sides into the tire wells and off the side of the unloader.

Not impressed
This unloader works for light weight items but we got a load of mulch and had to unload most of it by hand before the unloader started working. Waste of time and money.

Works great on thinner older truck tailgates.
I have only had the occasion to use mine a few times. I have been happy with it. Mostly mulch. Saved a lot of work. But you still need to clean out on each side by wheel wells. My only complaint is it worked great when I had my 92 F-150 and a thinner tailgate. Upgraded to a 2015 F-150 which has a much wider top on the tailgate. The haul master I have was bought many years ago so not aware it it has been upgraded to fit the wider tailgates on the Fords,Chevy,Ram trucks. I can still get it on, just barely. So if you have a newer pickup investigate first.

Great product for price and eazy to install and use
I was able to bring in material and spread it much easier than shoveling.

missing several parts
I was never able to use the unloader because several parts were missing. I sent it back over a year ago and still haven't gotten a refund.

Reduce friction
I didn't purchase this product, but I've owned one in the past for my larger trucks. I'm gonna get another one for my 1/4 ton and while shopping I see the reviews and wonder if the bad comments stem from a learning curve on basic physics. My first load handler I thought was junk until I studied the purpose of the tool. All my beds had spray liners and eventually turn matte and course over time. With increased weight on top of the slip sheet, you have increased friction on bed surface. Hence, it won't move or you can bend crank handle etc.. It works best with a smooth bed surface. Simple fix, spread plastic over the bed floor, then unroll the slip sheet over that. 2000lbs will slide off much easier. My 2 cents. Thanks

It will save your back.
You still have to load the truck but getting it out of the truck is not a problem. Make sure you have clearance to turn the handle.
