The texture may be a byproduct of the Citrate and not specific to this brand, butI haven't tried others to know for sure. I like the flavor the only thing was that i do suffer from my stomach and i had one gummy and did not agree with my stomach. The next day I took 1/2 of the gummy and it was better, no stomachache.

Good taste. Good amount of magnesium on each gummie.
