Deluxe Foam Swimming Pool Noodles

Works great

I had one purpose for purchasing this product - childproof our fireplaces with black noodles, which I can't find locally. One is some sort of stone with a lip. One is brick with no lip. When the noodles arrived they were smaller than I expected. These are not the pool noodles of your 90s youth. They're half the size. If I was buying them for a pool I'd be pissed. But for my purposes, the smaller size was BETTER for aesthetic reasons. The noodles are flawless on the stone mantle and grip the lip with great tension. I only taped the junctions. However on our brick fireplace - with no lip to grip - the noodles are TOO FIRM and TOO ROUND to grip onto the lipless brick, so it only worked on the one mantle (see picture). I am not mad it didn't work for the brick - it's user error to have thought it would. As for the padding, it really is the ideal solution, soft yet firm at the same time. Kid may get a bruise, but they won't lose an eye on a corner, and that's why we're doing this - right? It's really the perfect level of protection. So if you're looking at this for kid proofing, rest assured it's great, but your surface better have a lip for it bite onto. BTW, I cut the lengthwise slits for installation with regular scissors without issue. 5 star child protection, 0 stars if you wanted a massive 90s style pool noodle that will keep you afloat as a grown man.

Stuck these under a canopy to hold it up better but discovered the bees make nests in the holes. They worked great until then. Ordered some without the holes. Good noodles though.

I cut them in approximately one foot lengths and opened up one side of each piece and fastened them to some of my pond planters for water lilies and secured them with with plastic cable ties. Viola! Floating koi pond planters. One floating planter from a pond shop can cost as much as these 6 tubes all together and l already had the perforated pond planters that didn't float. I needed floating planters because koi can be destructive to plants. My beautiful koi fish had already destroyed all my pond plants over a period of a few years. I hope these work. So far it looks like they might. Not the traditional use, of course but so far they have worked better than anything else I have tried.

These extra dense hollow core foam noodles were just perfect to use over the hospital bed railings. They just slid over the hospital bed rails when the railings were separated without splitting the foam noodles and once the hospital bed rails were slid back together again would stay on without straps or ties. Providing both comfort and safety for the patient.

I cut these up to wrap around my exterior cpvc water pipes along with some fiberglass, foil, and PVC. They are not as deluxe or high density as I remember normal pool noodles being as a kid (maybe they were nearly the same but bigger diameter, or appeared that way, or the FL/CA/TX/NY USD is slowly depreciating into ¥en from cost of living, greedy municipal and state tax, fees, and utilities, employment requirements, and logistics hikes because vehicles haven’t appreciably improved in 125 years). They were actually pretty lightweight, and I had to use a lot of sealant to fill the open cell pores after cutting. They are also pretty expensive for just a few small lightweight noodles, but in the end they gave my pipes enough of an R-value boost so as not to quickly freeze up anymore- now its just the metal spigots that worry me.

I bought these for our pool, and they've been exactly what I expected—nothing fancy, but they work. They float well, are lightweight, and hold up to regular use. My kids use them all the time, and they’ve been durable enough to handle a lot of rough play. They don’t take up much space when storing either. For the price, these are a no-brainer if you’re looking for a basic pool noodle that does the job. Would definitely recommend.
