Love at first cook!
I received this Tramontina stainless steel pots and pans set for Christmas from my husband, and wow — I am beyond impressed! Not only do they look absolutely stunning and give my kitchen a true chef’s-kitchen vibe, but they also perform beautifully. I practically live in the kitchen and cook all the time, so I’m very picky about my cookware. My must-haves are simple: they need to last, not stick, have handles that don’t get too hot, lids that fit perfectly, and be easy to clean. These check every single box. The quality is outstanding, the fit and finish are excellent, and cleanup is a breeze. As long as you follow the care instructions, these pans will treat you very well. I couldn’t be happier with this set and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves to cook as much as I do!

They perform wonderfully!
In an upgrade of cookware, I purchased Tramontina 10”, Made In 10” and All-Clad 12” skillets making the most of Black Friday pricing. I purchased a Tramontina enameled Dutch Oven in the fall, and it’s a dream to use. The Tramontina skillet performs as well as the Made In and All-Clad skillets. It heats evenly, retains heat, sears proteins to an “even golden hue”, deglazes perfectly, and cleans with ease. It’s almost as heavy as the Made In which had 5 layers of cladding. The handle is the right length, easy to grip, and much better than the All-Clad handle. The sides do slope up a little gradually compared to others, as stated in the Serious Eats review, but it does not noticeably affect performance. My favorite skillet was the Made In with the Tramontina close behind. I say that with All-Clad manufactured very close to our home. The price-to-value ratio of Tramontina cookware can’t be beat. I bought the 8” skillet, because I like them so much. Remember, there’s no lid with these, like the All-Clad. I purchased a saucepan also. These are much more than budget-friendly skillets. They are for anyone looking for a high quality stainless steel clad skillet at an excellent price point. You’ll enjoy this skillet for many years.

Beautiful cookware I wish we had bought sooner
This is BEAUTIFUL stuff. We went from a gas range to an induction range, so my beloved 30+ years old but going strong RevereWare (actually US made) no longer worked. I don't miss it. The Tramontina set is wonderfully heavy (not in a bad way), exuding quality. Cooking in it, the first thing I noticed was that food stays warmer longer once cooking is done. If you're familiar with induction, the stove doesn't stay hot, the pan has to. These heat up quickly and evenly, and cook everything in a very predictable way. The lids fit securely. Like all utensils with metal handles, you do have to be careful lifting a hot, metal-handled lid. Other brands may and do cost more, but this is an investment that we're thrilled with, and don't think we could have gotten a better set by spending more.

Perfect Induction Cookware Set!
So we replaced our gas range with an induction range and we needed all new cookware. I’m the type of buyer who does my research and after comparing 6 different pot and pan sets (weight, price, reviews, pieces in set, ply) I finally settled on these, and I am very happy I did! First, they work perfectly on our induction cooktop. No issues at all. Sometimes they do make a noise (subtle clicking) when heating but this is something you get used to with induction. The pans heat quickly and evenly. No hot spots. The pans are well made with riveted metal handles so are oven safe. Nice feature when finishing something in oven. The pans clean up beautifully. Sometimes I may need to use a little Bar Keepers Friend and some elbow grease, but the results are beautiful and I much prefer this to dealing with nonstick. I also really like the glass lids—something my old set had and I wanted with my new set. The only downside (if you can call it that) is that because they are a quality weight pan, they can be heavy, especially when full. Just something to keep in mind if your hand or wrist strength is an issue. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this set and would recommend them to anyone looking for an induction ready cookware set!

Really good pots and pans, they heat up slowly
These are decent stainless steel pots and pans, they aren't non stick obviously, but with some bar keepers friend they clean up easily. They seem durable, I haven't dropped mine or anything yet, but they've survived washing, cooking, and cleaning several times with no real signs of wear. Minus 1 star because they do take awhile to heat up compared to my non-stick cookware, like for example when I'm boiling water: I definitely have to wait for a few minutes longer, but it's not a dramatically longer amount of time.

Quality Stainless Cookware
Very good quality. I ordered mine as one pot not a set and it was manufactured in Brazil. Like many of you I can no longer trade easy to use non-stick pans for my health. All stainless non coated pans suffer the same pit falls. Acid foods that are left in the pan for too long will pit. Hard water (like I have and most of us have) will leave water spots and stains. Heating the pan too hot will lead to some discoloring. Using metal utensils will scratch the pan. All stainless will react the same way no matter how thick, expensive or cheap. The good news is with a little care there won't be any pitting, stains and discoloring. If there is Bar keepers friend or a little vinegar will make easy work of cleaning. The bonus is cookware that will last a lifetime and no chemicals leaching into our food. These are NSF rated and that is important considering the news of stainless milk pans leaching lead into the infants milk. Anything to save a buck for some manufactures. But all Tramontina cookware is NSF certified. These pans are in every way as good as pans that are 2-4x their price. Good Luck.

BEAUTIFUL LOOKING & HIGH PERFORMING TRI-PLY STAINLESS STEEL AT A REASONABLE PRICE
Last Christmas my wife got me a 10" tri-ply stainless steel skillet made by All Clad. I was so impressed with the performance that I went out and purchased an All Clad 12" tri-ply stainless steel skillet. I decided that I needed to replace my entire set of Analon non-stick cookware that I purchased 20 years ago. Non-stick cookware in regular use should be replaced about every 5 years. The set included three skillets (12", 10" & 8"), one saute pan (10"), three saucepans (3 qt, 2 qt and 1 qt), one soup pot (4 qt) and one stock pot (8 qt). I used every piece of this set regularly, and I was very satisfied with it. Analon even cheerfully replaced the 14" skillet when it became warped. So, what has this to do with a Tramontina 8 qt tri-ply stainless steel stockpot? Frankly, if I had the money, I probably would have replaced my well-worn Analon cookware with made-in-USA All Clad. But I to do not have the money. And even if I did have the money, I am not a good enough cook to justify purchasing an expensive set like All Clad. Tramotina is less than half the price of All Clad. Does it perform as well as All Clad? Probably not. Would I notice the difference? Again, probably not. I love made-in-Brazil Tramontina. In addition to the 8 qt stock pot, I replaced all of the Analon pieces with Tramatina, except for the two skillets. It is beautiful cookware and performs very well indeed. The stock pot is substantial (i.e., heavy) tri-ply stainless steel. Of course, being stainless steel, it doesn't rust. And food will stick if you don't grease properly. Since I have been using tri-ply stainless steel for about 6 months, I will pass on what I have learned First, get a good cooking spray. Pam is very good and readily available. My favorite is Vegelene, which you can get online from King Arthur Baking Company. Except for boiling water, you should always use a cooking spray (spray, then wipe gently with a paper towel), even if you are using another oil or animal fat or both. I even spray the saucepan when I make oatmeal. Clean up is much easier. With stuck on food or burned on fond, bring some water to a simmer, then cover off heat and wait for 15 - 20 minutes. Everything will come off easily. If it doesn't, repeat the process. You should also have on hand a scouring pad like Scotch Brite, Barkeepers Friend non-abrasive cleanser, and white vinegar. That is everything you will need to keep your stainless cookware looking it's best. The pad and cleanser are obvious choices. The vinegar is for removing "rainbow" stains. You will know these stains when you see them. Wetting down the stains with vinegar, then wiping out the pot and rinsing will take care of those stains. You will enjoy Tramontina cookware. The 8 quart stock pot brings the water to boiling amazingly fast.

Perfect and there is no need to worry about more expensive options.
Replaced all my plastic and non-stick cookware with this set. I was contemplating the more expensive alternatives like All Clad and a few others. But I did not want to spend so much money on those. I am SO GLAD I got these. Every piece of this set is bomb proof, even the lids (which I have dropped plenty of times). I am rough on cookware and these pieces take it all. I scrub the #### out of them, I heat them on high and then put them directly in the sink like an idiot. So far it's going on 12 months with these and no permanent damage, no warping, no rusting. They look and cook like the first day I got them. I don't see a need for those more luxury options when this exists, unless of course you are some 3-star Michelin chef or something. Even then though, I think these are more than enough.
