Rubie's Costume Insano The Clown Overhead Mask

This is a good quality latex rubber mask with nice detailing. It arrived flat in a bag so I packed out with plain paper (the stuff Amazon sometimes use to pad out parcels is perfect) and left to settle back into shape for 24hrs before trying on.The clown is obviously wearing a hat, which makes the mask pretty big inside - I have a large head so on one hand was happy that getting it on and off wasn't much of a struggle but on the other hand this naturally makes it sit a bit too low to see out of. The instructions advise on padding out the inside with sponge, so I bought a car wash sponge for 60p from a local shop and used that to pad out the 'hat' section so that I could see properly through the eye holes. You may need another to pad out the back depending on the size of your head. This mask is intended for adults so will be far too big for a child.The effect is great, there is even a tinkling bell on the end of the hat and I managed to scare the bejesus out of a couple of visitors. Now just a few days to wait until Halloween ;-)Update 1/11/14I wore the mask last night when trick or treaters rang the doorbell (it's very popular around our way, we had over 70 kids knock this year) and they all thought the mask was awesome, several asking where I had bought it.

This mask is a very nice looking mask.A very scary looking clown mask for sure.The only criticism that I can give is what the other two reviews say that the mask is huge. Imagine a normal size mask and x it by three.Im off out today to go buy some bubble wrap and sponges to put it side to fill the gaps (No Joke).Not recommend for small adults beacuse the size off the head would looked ridiculous on you (sorry) and you will need more than sponges on your head.All in all its a great mask can't wait to use it BUT DO BE AWARE OF THE SIZE.

I was pretty impressed by the look of the mask on the picture and ordered it with high expectation. When it arrived and I unpacked it I was disappointed because just by the looking at the mask it was clear that it will be way too big. The quality and the look of the mask is good but without stuffing the cap your eyes will end up behind the forehead.

This really is a fantastic product & I can't fault it. The quality & appearance really is Excellent.It is one size fits all & quite cavernous inside so be prepared to pad it out to fit. A block of thick sponge glued in the top of the head did the trick for me.

Solo está un poco grande, con una toalla, queda perfectamente bien. La verdad es que el diseño y el material es increíble. Cumple con todas las expectativas. Tiene ventilación para respirar en la nariz y en los dientes, no me había percatado.
