Damaged and used product

First product received was a defective. Suddenly the replacement option disappeared from the Amazon screen and only option was to schedule an inspection from Morphy Richards, which never happened. I contacted the Amazon customer care and the executive was sensible enough to execute a replacement order. So receiving a working product depends entirely on your seller. The replacement product is excellent and to my satisfaction. But the initial hastle leaves me with the opinion to always buy an OTG from a local outlet.

The front glass exploded with loud noise during pre-heating. Very scary experience. Fortunately no body was near the oven. Otherwise the explosion could have caused injuries. Bajaj Electricals says the glass is not covered in the warranty. They were accusing us that we broke the glass. The support rep and his manager were very rude and were not listening to us and yelled at us. They also did not resolve the issue. They closed the ticket saying the heating element is working??? Without the front glass it is not usable. They told us they will send us quotation for front glass which they have not done. So it is sitting as the only ugly item for everyone to see in our otherwise modern designer kitchen. I intend to keep it there with shattered glass pieces and tell the incident to all. Amazon people are also not helpful. They advertised the product with two year warranty and sold. But they tell us it is not their responsibility. Now Bajaj electricals own Murphy Richards in India. So, best is to avoid - just like all Bajaj products we avoid.

Liked: Look, performance, price Disliked: Mishandling by the team. Found out the delivery guy carrying it upside down, found dent on the top of the oven body but overlooked it due to my busy schedule and to avoid return hassle. I just hope that the dent is not from the company coz if thats the case then we are paying less for the damaged product and is not a genuine sale. I expected the color to be more golden. Some people may find it not attractive. It looks like faded golden color. But for me, it matches my kitchen cabinet and looks better than lot of other models.
