Tastes good, who knows how safe it is
What a strange thing to review. I developed pica due to anemia and have been looking for sort-of safe things to chew. Please note nothing about this clay is actually edible. It's just clay from the ground somewhere in Russia that someone stuck the word edible on. It's more crunchy than chalky, like chewing thin sheets of porcelain. There isn't much taste at all, just a very pleasant slight earthy taste. Like the smell after the rain. I try not to swallow too much of this, I mostly chew it and spit it out. Oh, and I told my dentist about this habit and he said my teeth don't look like they've been damaged by it.

No taste or Smell Very Gritty, Seems like Compressed Sand
Horrible, no taste or smell. It looks promising and even are you wet it, is like sand. Not clay at all. No earthy anything about it. Youโll be disappointed especially if you are used to the type of clay from small country towns in the US.

Good
I was a little worried about this due to the reviews but I ended up really enjoying it. They are very hard rock chucks so I soaked it in water and the water would cause small pieces to chip away. I ended up eating those chips and the texture was amazing. Taste wise, this was extremely earthy. I mostly liked it for the texture.

Not bad but not great
I liked the taste but I'll dont think you get enough for what you pay for and some of the chunks were too thick( I had to break them up with a hammer). Save you money and get a different clay. Update: So I did end up buying it again and it was much better the second time. I got more the second time and the chunks weren't as big as they were the first time I got it. Still don't think you get enough for your buck but I really do like the taste. I've gotten it three times now. It is a little hard to chew too. Oh and if you do end up getting it, let it air for five days to a week it will be have a stronger taste and won't be quite as hard as when you get it. Updated: the third time I got it, it wasn't good at all. It had a horrible old taste like it's been sitting out in a moist damp dungeon or something. The clumps were big and hard to bite in to. Oh and it was sticking to my teeth and had a faint gummy feel. I'm sorry but this one has done it, I will not buy this again.

My husband loves these
I order my husband clay and chalk from this company once a month, because he gets cravings like crazy to eat dirt lol. We both will just bite into these to satisfy some weird animalistic need to just bite onto rocks, and we love this brand for it. They always taste earthy, have a nice satisfying crunch, and help my husband greatly with his cravings. If you order these, please understand what you are getting into. Its literally biting into earth, so that is what it will taste/feel like.

Do not buy
The product arrived fast in a safe sealed package. However, do not waste your money. The clay is to hard, the taste is bland and horrible. Georgia grandma's clay in the better purchase, more bang for your

Great taste no doubt
I like this kind of clay very good taste, compares to other clays I say this type of clay is one of the best I ever tasted. Bought this twice and this will be my third now. Hope the quality and quantity wouldn't change or disappoint me

How to get the most out of it
the first thing i did was put all the chunks in a bowl of water. the chunks broke apart naturally to smaller chunks that are easier to chew on. once the fizzing stops, i place the chunks on a tray and let them air dry for 1-2 days. after that itโs so easy to chew and the earthy taste is more concentrated and amazing! had my mouth watering!
