Exactly what we needed
Our garden hose came with push for connectors, however, somehow, pointing no fingers😉, they disappeared after my other half put the hose away last winter.I decided to try the brass push fits, even though our previous ones were black plastic, because I thought they would last longer. We bought one of those expensive self extending hoses, which has been brilliant, and hope that with these brass connectors it will keep going for a few more years. They are well made, good threads, rubber washers and rings included in the pack, the rings are predicted onto the brass noses and work really well even though they are connected to a plastic push fit end on the hose itself, which I wasn't sure would work, but it does.Very happy with these.

Saved me hundreds!
My love for this little brass widget is out of all proportion to its innate modesty. I have gravity fed central heating, heated by a Rayburn, and an airlock had formed so the radiators stayed cold. After a lot of head scratching, following pipes, drawing diagrams, googling until I was cross-eyed, I decided to try to force mains water into the system to drive out the air bubble. I invested a fiver in this little brass miracle, I got two plus lots of useful washers, am embarrassment of riches! I attached it to one of the radiators, PTFE on the thread, clipped on the garden hose, said a prayer and turned on the outside tap. I ran back indoors half expecting a fountain of water somewhere. But no just the sound of water in the pipes and after a moment the trickle of it into the overflow cold tank. Dismantled the hose feed, said another prayer. Success! The rad immediately started to warm up.I remember years ago calling out a plumber to do the same job. Cost a bit more than a fiver.Yes, love is not too strong a word.

Razor Sharp
Good value for money and works well however the major downside is the metal tightner - mine is so sharp didn't even feel the 2 slices it took out of my thumb when securing it to the tap and only realised when saw blood everywhere so make sure you wear gardening gloves when tightening

Fantastic
I have a mixer spray tap in my kitchen bought from aldi. Apparently “you can’t fix a hose pipe to it” You can. You unscrew the spray end and attach this. Also can be used on a shower hose I believe. Comes with rubber bung things which I didn’t need as the tap had its own. I’m now net spraying my garden. Brilliant
