I used this to connect MacBook Air to Older Apple Cinema Display, it works well, looks like build quality is good too.

Does not work from Apple Mac Pro to Apple monitor.

Used this adapter on my iMac to connect a second monitor. Unfortunately it did not work.

maybe a good product, who knows, but not compatible with old Apple Cinema Displays, no matter if single or dual-link DVI monitor, no matter which apple miniDP to DVI adapter used in combination (see pictures). I tested other ones, but the only solutions working I found where: 1) Sicotool usb-c to miniDP https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08B647L2X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 in combination with miniDP to dual-link DVI adapter (for both apple 30 and 23, in facts it requires power from USB for 23 too). But once in sleep mode you have to detach and attach again the USB, or use an USB switch to resume; 2) More elegant and direct club3D usb-c to DVI dual-link adapter https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08PT3KDND/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (just a bit more expensive, around 40£, I would have hoped to combine the an usb-c to miniDP with miniDP to single/dual link DVI adapters I already had (see pictures), but club3D is the best solution in my opinion.
