Getting Started with Happlee Professional Glass Paints
The media could not be loaded. I have been using Delta paints for various glass projects for years. I decided to try these.Couple of things about glass paints if you haven't worked with them before. Your mantra will be less is more. You can use them like acrylics or oils. They go on thinly and need to dry between coats. The more solid you want the color, the more coats you need to apply letting them dry in between. Also, glass paints tend to have a strong odor, these paints are no different. I have asthma, so I always crack a window when I work with them.I made a little video showing how I get started with a little pattern and a few photos of the finished piece. These paints have the adhesive for bonding mixed in, so you don't have to use a surface conditioner. I painted two test glasses and one of the glasses I put surface conditioner on before painting and there was no difference between how the paint adhered to the glasses. You can mix the colors in the handy little pallet that comes with the kit.Overall, I'm happy with these and would highly recommend them for anyone beginning glass painting.

Great beginner paint for glass based crafting!
I bought this paint for the purpose of coloring in a glass bottle that I intend to fashion into a fancy lotion dispenser and also to paint another bottle that I intend to turn into a beach diorama. The paints worked well for these crafts. The paint color is as bright as you need it to be depending upon how many layers you apply. The drying time was longer than expected but I didn’t want to try to bake my glass and get it wrong somehow or damage the work. The paints smelled strong enough anyway, I can’t imagine the stench of baked paint in my house. All in all, I recommend these paints for any crafting of this nature.

Great paint, leaky tubes
The paint was great to use. The colors are vibrant. My only complaint is 3/4 of the tubes were ookie under the lids where they had leaked. There was a foil sealer under the cap, however, the paints had oozed out around it. I would buy again hopefully with the tube's coming intact.

Easy to use -Like the colors -Hard to smooth
I liked the transparency of the paint but it is hard to get smooth. I finally just squeezed a drop from the tube to the glass and gently smoothed with the brush (although it does flow and self level). As you can see with the acrylic flowers it's hard to smooth the colors because you have to paint in reverse. The first color you apply shows from the other side. I think the glass paint looks better - less messy and can blend the colors. I used acrylic paint pens to outline the rosebud. It would be nice to have paint pens with glass paint?

Not something I would purchase again but I can use for the purpose intended
The first thing that I noticed about these paints are how small they are. That being said, the coverage is pretty good on a glass mason jar and it was not necessary to give it a second coat if what you are going for is the "see through" type of look. The second thing that I noticed is how hard it is to open the tops of these tubes and in trying to do so, you can smash down the tube where the paint is, causing it to squirt right out when you do finally get the top off. So be warned on that and be careful. The third thing that I noticed is that even though the coverage is pretty good when painting on glass, there really is not much paint in the tubes and it is used up pretty quickly, therefore, not really happy with the value of the purchase. All in all, the paint worked pretty good but given all the little annoyances, I would not purchase this brand again.

Not as Described at All
The paints I received were nothing like what the description said, and it isn't even the right paints. I put quite a few coatings on, and it still doesn't look vibrant and they all stayed clear. It's nothing like the images or the video, especially since they aren't even the right paints. Their safety tabs were mostly opened and the paint was crusted in the lid. They're also a lot smaller than what they should be, and I can't find the brand name on the box anywhere.

Good for miniature stained glass window
I haven't used this type of product before, but needed to paint a miniature stained glass window for a diorama. Painted onto acrylic kind of like you would a sun catcher, so more like dabbing and letting a few coats worth dry at one time. I thought the orange and yellow and light green all looked similar unless they were held up to direct light, but with a few coats I could tell the difference a little more easily. The violet reminded me more of a red-purple than a true, vibrant purple, but I was still pleased with the results. Perfect for my specific project.

Third set and will continue to buy in the future.
I have bought this set three times. I used these paints to make a beautiful stained glass lantern for a gift and to paint windows in my bathroom. The colors are very vibrant and beautiful. Good mix of colors. Just be sure to pop the bubbles if you want a more smooth finish. I like the bubbles. I blended a little bit of water when I needed a more sheer result. They blend very well.
