A few suggestions: First, sorry about the divorce. They are brutal even in the most civil of situations. I'm one year younger and dealing with skin stressed from a serious accident and recovery a few years ago, so I get it. :-) 1. You need to calm that skin down. Use a gentle cleanser. Cerave is good, mostly garbage free and relatively inexpensive. Or, try the sensitive skin cleanser by acure. - heal your skin with gentle products before you try blasting it with scrubs etc again. K beauty has good essences. SKII is a crazy expensive brand but MISSHA's essence has the same basic ingredients for 80% less. Use it after cleansing. - apply your hyralaynic acid serum during the day - at night, either alternate peptide and retinol serums or just stick with peptides. If you're using vitamin c or antioxidants during the day, maybe wait until your skin has calmness down a bit to do retinols. Here are the products I really like 1. Derma e pycogenol face wash and serum for sensitive skin (bonus, it's also organic, an antioxidant, and helps collagen, and under $20!) 2. PCA ex linea targeted serum for deep lines (marionette, forehead, 11s,) OR Dr. Perricone glutathione cream. It's pricey but you need only a drop the size of a pinhead x3 face sections. The best price is on qvc 3. Moisturizer day:REN v sence day, or REN global sensitive skin cream by REN (at Sephora in a good package discount right now,) or Caudalie Reservatol SPF 20 Lift or MyChelle Deeply Hydrating Daily Moisturizer 4. Night: bee friendly moisturizer or REN v sence 5. Eye cream: MyChelle magnolia gel topped with dr haushka balm or Evan eye balm 6. Some good face masks: Derma e moisturizing mask, clarin's flash balm is a great plumper and tightener, mychelle cactus mask or pumpkin mask, Avene (not aveeno,) moisturizing mask Astara green papaya You can also do DIY masks from any of these alone or in combo: honey, plain Greek yogurt or milk, finely ground oatmeal, egg whites, rosewater, aloe gel or juice, calendula oil, brewed chamomile tea or tea bags, plain black or green tea, mix together and apply to skin let sit for 20 minutes and rinse. Honey, milk, and egg whites each on their own are game changers. Caudalie' reservatol line or PCA's rejuvenating serum would work well for you I think. After your skin calms down, start using glycoluc acid pads or a daily cream with lactic acid t For when your skin calms down 5. Treatments: A. Peels: exuviance peel at lovely skin $54 a set of 6 aha glycolic peels B. First aid beauty glycolic pads C. Juice Beauty sensitive skin peel 6. Exfoliants A. Fleur dis Lis chamomile rice enzyme powder or Tatcha indigo rice powder B. ABBA pineapple exfoliant If you like organic products, the really great brands are: 1. Eminence bamboo, neroli, and stonecrop lines 2. Odacite 3. Vintner's Daughter 4. Sanita 5. Dr. Perricone glutathione 6. Sunday Riley CEO lactic acid serum and Luna sleeping oil Also consider switching to natural cosmetics if you haven't. They are better for your skin and kinder to your appearance. Some good brands: RMS beauty for concealer, vapour or gressa for foundation, Alima pure for blush and eye makeup, au natural or french girl cosmetics for lips. Some great tutorials in no makeup makeup are by Lisa Eldridge. Also: Start eating healthy fats like seeds and nuts, drinking lots of water, cutting out: sugar (sugar ruins collagen and makes us puffy,) preservatives, corn syrup. Try to eat more produce and less prepared food. If you can only choose a few organic foods, choose dairy,meat, apples, almonds, celery, and potatoes. If nothing else, the index with recipes, products and supplement recommendations is worth reading. - a good hyralaunuc acid serum for moisturizing and pluming PCA's rejuvenating serum looks like a good bet. How does anyone know they are not puchasing a fake item? My PCA Skin Collagen Hydrator has expiration date that says 1216 on bottom. Not 12/16 or December 2016. Any input from customers? Also, kind of burned going on. Bought from Amazon Prime and fulfilled by Amazon but sold from another vendor.

I only get my PCA on Amazon. the BB date says 0117.... I've used it for years and always been pleased. call the company in AZ and ask them if you think you have a fake... probably the code on the bottom would let them know....

Does PCA skin collagen hydrate have a scent?

No added scent, only a faint scent of Ingredients. You don’t smell when you put on.

No, this is not for oily skin. You might get better results from clear skin formula from pca. I have combination skin and use this just on my dry spots and the clear skin on my whole face.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! In the winter my skin gets very dry and this helps so much and helped me get clear skin. You don’t need a whole lot either to put on your face so don’t be turned off by the size of the container. A little goes a long way. Recommended to me by my aesthetician and my dermatologist.

Favorite moisturizer!

I’m on accutane and this moisture helped me so much! It’s light and feels amazing on the skin. It doesn’t have a smell and it doesn’t leave streaks. I even bought a second one right away. I just love the whole PCA skin care line. I highly recommend this product!

this moisturizer is excellent. I like that it doesnt sit on the skin, but skin feels moisturized & hydrated all day long. My skin really changed for the drier when i became pregnant. I could no longer use retinol products either. I didnt know what to use and my doctor as well as esthetician recommended this line. It was well worth it. That glowing, pregnant look does NOT occur naturally for everyone, especially if u have sensitive, allergic reactions on your skin. Thanks to this product line i had great releif & improvement. Also i appreciate that instead of containing collagen, (which when applied topically cannot be absorbed by skin to increase collagen content) , it can rather stimulate collagen production in skin. This puts it a step ahead of a lot of products out there if you ask me. i will continue to use this in the long term, pregnant or not.

Anti aging

This stuff is great if you want to take preventative measures. It’s great to prevent signs of aging. Is very moisturizing and super hydrating but non greasy which I love. A little goes a long way too. I love this and use it as my primary moisturizer morning and night.

A great face moisturizer

This moisturizer cream is light weight and non oily and very great for my skin. My spa uses it and I find it online so I don’t have to pay the higher prices the salon Spa charges. Great product 🙂
