I have put a lot of traps out to catch these occasional creepy roaches, but sometimes visit me. So I gave them their own little trap a roach hotels.The professional exterminator told me to get roach traps that used bait because you can’t catch them in any other way and using a spray killer on them doesn’t work unless you get one right in front of you. But it doesn’t kill them as a residual treatment.They have to be given a bait. This HoyHoy trap a roach works amazingly well. I had to get more for other places and I checked them out every now and then when I am wearing medical gloves because I don’t want my scent to be on those. So I have put them together using the blue medical gloves as well. This is the best product I’ve gotten it doesn’t smell. It’s fairly easy to put together all I did not like the loose way the top was fitting so I stapled the top two pieces together so they couldn’t come undone. It fits under my refrigerator and under my stove. I had one under my bed, but nobody came. I have one in the bathroom way back in this little alcove on the floor. So we’ll see we are the most activity is. You can also put them inside cabinets which I haven’t done yet, but I might. Try them out!

Once things were under control, I began replacing them every four weeks. To the reviewer who said these last for a couple of months: the package says they are effective for up to a month. Don’t be cheap at the risk of reintroducing this nightmare problem into your home. These traps are not expensive.To the reviewer who complained about inferior “paper engineering”: I had no problem picking up the carrying knob, but if you find it to be an issue, just MacGyver it and attach a small binder clip to the knob for an easier way to pick up the trap.Assembly: these were easy to put together. If you find these difficult to assemble, I guarantee that you won’t be going anywhere near flat pack furniture kits. And you’d better hope your kid’s Christmas list doesn’t include any toys that require assembly.Note that while these are billed as roach traps, these are equal opportunity traps that do not discriminate.To the reviewer who said he was going to supplement the bait with food to better attract insects – um, NO. You want the insects to be drawn to the bait, not feel like they are at the food court surrounded by multiple choices.Please note that while these traps are extremely effective, you must do your part. Don’t leave food out on the counter. Stash that candy dish. Use a lidded wastebasket and take out the trash frequently. You may even need to put away Fido’s food and water at night (yes, insects love water).Place traps in areas to which pets and small children do not have access. Same goes for storage of unused traps. My Houdini cat has figured out how to open cupboards, so into a closet they go.Once your problem is under control, continue trap placement as a preventative measure.Pros:They work!Easy to useInexpensiveCons:I’ll get back to you when I think of one.

Tried these out and was surprised at how effective they are. Super sticky and easy to set up. They’ve caught multiple roaches fast, and it feels safe to use around pets and kids. Definitely recommend if you need something that works indoors.

These actually work really well. They seem to attract and trap better than anything else I can get in the stores. They don't have a smell, and are easy to use. They are a really good value for the money.

It works and will help monitor to make sure they are gone forever. I so think it was a bit confusing to set up, maybe because my anxiety is high gear when it comes to this situation. My husband and i read the directions and got it done. Still, the "windows " feature doesn't make a ton of sense to me. We used a piece of tape to make sure the traps stay put where we have them, like along the wall by the garbage.
