A great tank of a knife
This is the largest pocket knife in my knife collection and I love everything about it. The G10 scales are perfectly scalloped in all the right positions and provide good traction on the hand. The PVD coating is uniform and slick. The blade is perfectly centered. The ceramic ball bearings allow for very quick and smooth flipping out the blade. The liner lock is 100% engaged onto the blade when opened. When the blade is closed the ball detent holds the blade closed very securely and strongly that no matter how hard I tried to shake the blade out the blade stayed closed. There is no way for the blade to accidentally open itself in your pocket or collapse on you when opened under normal use. But if you are still worry the knife comes with a screw pin that you can insert just below the pivot to lock the knife in either fully opened or closed position. I find the knife a little too big and heavy to EDC but not super difficult if you want to EDC it. I consider it more of a novelty item and a conversation piece. It is a good looking knife you want hold and play with it. It is overbuilt and will do heavy duty work if situation arises. This all blackout D2 with G10 scale version is only $55 and their S35VN with titanium scale version is $180. I am loving this blackout version and the money I saved can add more knives to my collection. To sum it up: it is good looking, it is a tank of a knife, it is smooth and slick, it is sharp (phone book paper slicing sharp), it has a unique blade shape, it all blackout stealthy. it has maximum cool factor, and last but not least it is affordable. Highly recommended.

I love it is an understatement
The media could not be loaded. Yes It’s big and it’s a little heavy, but it still fits in your pocket surprisingly comfortable to carry. The retention on the clip is solid despite its size. It does take up a lot of room in your pocket, but it is so much fun It is worth it. I wouldn’t want to go jogging with this in shorts but just for normal every day stuff it doesn’t bother me at all, and I’m not a big guy, you get used to it quick. It arrived pretty sharp, not super razor shaving sharp, but plenty sharp enough. The tip is almost needle sharp. Mine locks up really nice and tight right in the middle. No blade play at all. Not even a little. Blade is perfectly centered and the action is decent out of the box for as heavy as the blade is.You can shake the blade pretty well and it doesn’t come out. No real worries about this one opening up accidentally on me... It’s a tank.I absolutely love love love this knife. This knife is just ridiculously fun to look at, to hold, flick open with that loud click, and cut things with. I’ve only used it on cardboard and packaging stuff like that so far but it’s holding its edge like new. It’s overkill, I feel like It can go right through a car door easily, and it probably can, but it does what it’s designed to do and every day tasks exceedingly well. There’s not much this one can’t do. I’m gonna carry it for a few months and I’ll probably upgrade to the premium version. It’s just too much fun not to take with me. Mine came with the screw and lanyard, and the screw fits in perfect and easily no issues like other reviews had.

Perfect knife and size
The liner lock up is strong and early, which is a sign of good machining. The blade is sharp enough but it could be sharper. Its not a big deal. I love how robust the design is and the extra locking pin that it comes with. I wish they would make more variations of the sub size instead of just all black. They used to have copper scaled versions, burlap micarta, red canvas micarta, etc.

Small version isn't crazy small. It's compact.
Small version isn't crazy small. It's compact. I wear an XL glove and this fits perfectly in a tight grip. An extra quarter inch in length wouldn't be unwelcome but the larger model is much bigger than I'm comfortable carrying for any reason other than novelty factor. I have several of these and only one is the "normal" size if that tells you anything. Build quality is as good or better than anything in this price range. Looks may be love it or hate it but I don't know a single person that doesn't like it. Blade came shaving sharp out if the box. Both thumb studs and finger flicker work great. As do a few other methods if you get creative. Can't see anyone not loving this knife.

Pocket bruiser knife
Cons: definitely not a light knife despite the relatively modest closed and blade lengths (under 3 in or 77mm). The proprietary, shallow screws can be a bit of a pain but various sized flathead screwdrivers will handle it.Pros: excellent sturdy blade with a surprisingly thin tip for delicate work. Knife excels at strong pushcuts and tip piercing or tabletop utility work. Handle is both neutral enough and thick enough to allow a good grip. While my example had a decently strong linerlock I think an alternative lock might be ideal for both safety and ambidexterity concerns.

Great knife, great quality, great price.
The pictures do not do this thing justice. I have a few AC knives and for the price they are great. This is no different. Smooth action opening and closing. I like the liner lock and this blade looks like it is ready for the apocalypse. This is going straight into the EDC rotation. No need to spend hundreds of dollars on other brands when this one has everything you need, at a third of the cost. I have been in law enforcement for 18 years and this is more than enough knife.

Excellent knife, might be to heavy for some.
Excellent quality, easy to operate. I am very happy with the purchase. It is a relatively heavy knife. I like that but some might not.
